“If I fits, I sits” – it’s the cat motto.

And even if they don’t fit, they’re happy to try.

We know cats feel more secure in closed spaces (as long as they’re not backed or forced into them) but we still can’t imagine how these 10 kitties got comfortable in the positions they find themselves in below.

1. I am a pretzel

We’re impressed.

We don’t know if it’s the jar or the salt from the pretzels that lured the cat in, but it seems to have no plans to extricate itself.

To be fair, a pretzel jar could be a very comfortable place – I guess we’ll never know.

2. What are you lookin’ at?

This kitten seems none too pleased to have its photo taken while it’s trying to relax in a tiny bucket.

Then again, we’re pretty sure if we found time to relax in a bucket, our cat would be happy to interrupt us.

3. Thank you for doing dishes

Good thing the dishes got done today.

Otherwise this furry feline wouldn’t have a clean colander to jam itself into.

4. Learning from the best

How funny is this?

It looks like this kitten is learning the ropes but got the short end of the stick this time.

5. Kitty cocktail

Before your next party, be sure to clean out your punch bowl.

We don’t know of any cocktails that require cat hair as an ingredient.

6. Box of kittens

How? Why?

It’s both creepy and hilarious – especially that upward “I’m totally ok!” stare.

7. Eat your salad

Good thing this family finished their spinach.

How much do you want to bet this cat has a perfectly good cat bed somewhere in the house?

8. Flush this

We can only assume there’s no water in this toilet bowl.

But, regardless, someone is going to get an unwelcome bath later.

9. I’m so comfy

This kitten is really trying to sell the idea that it’s comfortable in its box.

This is how cats recycle.

10. Cookie cat

Well, this is one reason to just go ahead and eat all the cookies – there’s nowhere to store them!

Then again, maybe you should use it to store cat treats – just stick them in one at a time.
