10 hilarious servers giving their customers exactly what they asked for

Being a server can be tough. Having to deal with customer’s varying personalities and attitudes is definitely a handful.

But since the “customer is always right,” there’s only so much that can be done. Also, since you’re relying on tips to make a living, you don’t want to ruin your chances of making money. But sometimes, regardless of how nice and attentive you are, you don’t get a tip anyway.

It’s challenging work. But sometimes, with a little bit of patience, you can take things in stride and get even!

Below is a list of waiters giving their customers exactly what they ask for. They’re subtle jabs at customers who either ask for too much or have caught their server on a bad day.

But don’t worry, it’s all in jest. No harm, no foul.

1) Putting a Spin on Nothingness

Well, that escalated quickly. Little guy says he wants nothing for his birthday. And, that’s exactly what he got. A plateful of nothing.

This waiter is my hero.

2) Since You Want to be Specific

Here ya go, Brian. Oops, Bryan. This barista wasn’t having any of it that day. Take what you’re given, smile, and leave. We’re sure the barista gets Bryan’s every day and was just sick of it.

This was a nice and subtle way to put your foot down!

3) For the Fallen

After a waiter accidentally dropped a fry when bringing food to their table. They went back and replaced the fallen fry with one. Literally, one to replace the one fry that fell.

Not all heroes wear capes.

4) A Note for Myself

This worker made a joke for themselves but it slipped out, along with the bill. Yikes. I wonder if the worker got into any hot water over this.

5) Hospitality Cards!

Hospitality cards are great but they can also end on a sour note. Particularly if your server is fed up with serving you.

Be nice to your server, folks.

6) “Say cheese!”

This worker at Waffle House was asked to take some photos of a customer and his friends. He took several and they all ended up looking like this. Haha!

I hope he was leaving for the day. Or better yet, it was his last day. I’d hate to run into the customers after this stunt.

On the other hand, the customer never noticed him making these faces with his eyes closed to think something was amiss?

7) PacMan Pancakes

After telling his waitress that he was sick, she came back with Pacman pancakes. That’s quite thoughtful! There’s a theory that the items Pacman is eating are pills. If that’s what she was thinking, this is quite the gesture!

8) Spill-proof Cup

After his friend spilled his cup of orange juice, he did also. The server wasn’t taking any chances and brought him a children’s cup with a lid and a straw. To top it off, she put it all in a cupcake-shaped cup.

Aww, a cupcake for my cupcake.

9) Just So We’re Clear

In other words, don’t interrupt me! It’s always rude when a guest sees a worker helping another guest but still proceeds to interrupt them. Right on for telling those people that they don’t stand a chance!

I approve of this message.

10) Dad Jokes Aside

After a dad asked his server for “one very small check,” the server literally provided him what he asked for. You can’t even be mad at this! It’s hilarious!

Just when you thought a dad couldn’t be out-dad-joked.
