It’s winter and for many, quarantine was rough on them. We all have our own coping mechanisms with being locked inside all day, some healthy, others… not so healthy. For these men, their need for newness and adventure drove them to do something… interesting.
Monkey-tailed beards are a new trend where you shave your beard in the shape of a, you guessed it, monkey’s tail. Is it weird? You bet. Are we going to look at a bunch of them today and analyze them? Absolutely.
1. A waking dream
You can just read in this guy’s caption how happy he is. The elusive monkey-tail beard is finally his. Now, he just needs to show his wife and ask if they can keep it.
2. Good ol’ days
While looking through old photos, this guy found the time he did this to his beard. In the original photo, he almost looks angry. In the second two, he looks much happier. How can you not be happy with that on your face?
3. A classy version
Personally, I’m not a fan of the monkey-tail look… unless it’s this guys. He looks classy and somehow gives off “hot professor vibes” and we are all here for it.
4. Cancer awareness
This beard serves two purposes. The first thing you probably notice is the BRIGHT PINK BEARD he has. The second is the funny beard. The first is for cancer awareness, the second is to make it fun.

There is something about the bald but with a beard look. This guy pulls it off well. With the addition of the specialty beard, he has all the confidence he needs in this world. Now time for another tattoo. No Ragrets.

In the caption, this guy asks “Is this a thing now?” And we have to vehemently say ” No, it’s not”. But, at the end of the day, you do you boo.
7. No-Shave November
Although we are well past the time-frame for this to apply, Winter is still a great time to try out whatever beards you normally want to during the year. You can sometimes convince your S/O to let you go for it. When you do, you have pics like this to look back on.
8. His personality is on display
Some people find personality in their sports affiliation. Others find it in their facial hair. We can see that this guy is one of the rare breeds who’s personality is caught up in totality in both of them.
9. Look at that smile
This guy is about as happy as they come. Out of everyone so far, his face seems to work the best with the beard style. What do you think?

Conclusion
After seeing everyone with their beards, I don’t think the trend will ever stick. But, at the same time, if you are planning to shave the beard off anytime soon, you might as well make a Pit-Stop at the monkey-tail beard station on your way to bald-faced baby.
