10 men rocking short shorts like it’s nobody’s business
If you’re a guy, chances are your feelings on small shorts are “I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a pair of those”. Let’s face it, they’re just not that nice to look at. There’s no denying that they’re very comfy, and it’s fun to lounge around at home in one of them.
Though showing up to a hang out or a gathering in one of these is a different story. We don’t always have the physique for it, and even when we do, it’s hard to deny that it looks pretty funny.
That said, let’s look at some men who decided to rock a pair of these breezy shorts with all the confidence in the world.
1. These shorts can’t contain me.
OP’s dad here isn’t the slightest bit shy about showing his physique in his ever-so breezy shorts. I don’t think he counted on this photo being shared to Reddit several decades later.
2. The duality of man.
Look at the way this dude’s got his arms crossed, and compare his friend on the left who looks like he isn’t enjoying the sight of it. It’s almost like he picked out those tiny shorts to spite the guy in the long, bell-bottom pants.
3. This man really wanted to show off his quads.
They say thick thighs save lives, but that I’m not sure if the saying works for guys the way it works for women. That afro, though, at least sells the look.
4. Are they trying to match outfits?
It’s one thing for your shorts to be short. It’s a whole ‘nother thing if they’re shorter than your girlfriends. You’ve got to have some stellar confidence in your legs as a dude to do that.
5. I guess the breeze lets him swing better.
It’s always important to wear something comfy when you’re doing sports. With shorts this short, he can probably precisely guess the wind direction from all his leg hairs picking up the wind.
6. You’re not brothers till you both step out in tiny shorts.
In the 70’s, short jorts were as much a requirement for a chill time as cold beers and a pair of shades. Look at OP’s dad and uncle demonstrating it right here.
7. Have you ever seen something so threatening?
The sight of a man in shorts this short, with thighs that thick, walking towards me with a cow by his side, is honestly a fear-inducing. The sheer foreboding energy in this picture is enough to keep me up at night.
8. That’s a pretty familiar looking pose.
Being taken in 1970s, this man did this pose over a decade before Jeff Goldblum did in Jurassic Park. Except, of course, he doesn’t have Ian Malcom’s iconic black pants and jacket.
9. Four is the magic number.
You want to go out in tiny shorts, but you don’t want anyone to make fun of you. So what’s the solution? Get 3 of your homies to join you in tiny shorts too.
10. This man’s got it all.
When you’ve got a physique like this, the tall socks, and a ride this cool, you can wear the shortest shorts you want. Honestly? I envy this man.
