It’s no secret that most parents are proud of their children. Even when they’re being annoying, bratty, or insane, the average parent will still look with pride on their wayward child. It’s no different for dog parents, either.

Just like us, a dog mom or dad revels in their adorable little mini-mes, and for good reason. There is just nothing cuter than a puppy mini-me trying to imitate their dog parents. Whether they’re lounging about, roaming the streets, or begging for food. The spectacle is always a thousand times cuter when a mini-me is involved.

1. Those eyes though!

As if a big ol’ set of puppy eyes weren’t enough. Now we get to try to resist the heart-melting gaze of two sets of them. The mama dog’s eyes were enough to reduce us to a puddle, and there’s just no way we can resist the same set of them on a puppy face.

2. Lazy apples

They say that the apple doesn’t far from the tree. By the looks of it, this tiny apple fell from one lazy tree. What we would give just to be cuddled up on the floor right between these dogs. We don’t want to mess up the “twinsies” vibe they’ve got going on though.

3. Ya think they’re related?

Talk about not falling far from the tree! This Keeshond pup is dang near identical to his mama dog. The most noticeable difference is in their faces. Where the pup looks like he just wants to play and get loves, the mom looks like she’ll rip your face off if you come too close. Sorry, little guy, we know not to mess with mama bears OR mama dogs.

4. Rumble in the Bronx?

We sure hope not. This papa bear’s name is Bronx, and it’s very clear that he’s not letting anything happen to his sweet mini-me, Bella. It just doesn’t get any cuter than this. Look how confident and happy Bella is to be next to her dad. We don’t think she’ll have any problems filling his paws.

5. Like two peas in a pod

Are we seeing double dogs here? This little mini-me is a dead-ringer for mom, and mom clearly won’t have it any other way. Her little nugget is strapped snugly to her chest because who could ever let anything happen to such a cutie?

6. Daddy smooches

This, my friends, is a look of pure adoration. This doggy dad is doting on his young pup like a proud parent while his goober sticks out his tongue for a big wet kiss. This is how long-haired German shepherds love on each other, and we could look at it all day!

Just like with humans, kids need to be taught how to do everything, and that includes how to play. This Rottie dad is taking his job to heart by teaching his mini-me how to pull off a proper game of tug. Important life skills, to be sure.

This is the look this lazy pair gave their hooman when he asked them if they wanted to help him shovel. Dogs may be excellent diggers, but they are even more skilled at snuggling and snoozing. Dad should probably just toss the shovel aside and join in on the cuddle puddle, in the interest of mental health, of course.

This may just be the proudest Pa of a puppy that ever existed. Look at that face of his. It’s like he can’t believe he produced such a perfect version of himself. This is pretty much the look of every proud dad when they see their kid acting so much like themselves.
