Classic prescription medicine bottles can definitely fill the bathroom cabinets over time, but instead of throwing them away, it turns out that they’re actually pretty useful in the house when they’re repurposed. Here are ten ways to reuse the plastic medicine pill bottles in the house.

1) Holder for makeup brushes

The pill bottles are ideal to hold a couple of your commonly used makeup brushes, and they’ll also sit firmly upright. And if you’re not a fan of the classic medicine bottle look, you can always decorate it a bit.

2) Bobby pin storage

You’ll probably find bobby pins everywhere in the house – so maybe it’s time to organize those a little bit better. Pill bottles are an ideal place to store them!

3) DIY mini survival kit

These bottles make excellent portable sewing kits! Simply fill up your bottles with a thread, needles, and buttons. It works best when you grab a piece of fabric with stuffing and glue it on the inside of the cap. That way, you’ll have an instant pin cushion!

10) Safe container for condiments

Grabbing leftover condiments from a restaurant around can be potentially dangerous – after all, one pinch and you’ll end up with sauce squirting out in your pocket or purse. You can play it safe instead and repurpose a pill bottle as a condiments to-go container.
