Some people have a natural-born gift to play musical instruments.

For some at a young age, music comes as almost a second language. It really is incredible to watch young kids play the instruments they love, especially when that instrument is almost the size of them!

Their growing brains are like a sponge to all of the musical knowledge they receive.

Now, this 10-year-old boy is a marvelous example of a natural-born musician.

The young musician named Garret Podgorski had been playing guitar for two years when his music teacher wanted him to play the bass guitar. Podgorski was eager and knew he could tackle any instrument. Then one day his music teacher saw a YouTube video of him playing the electric guitar like no other 10-year-old.

She was so amazed by this young man’s natural talent and knew the world needed to watch him perform.

What better way to show off a student’s talent than in front of all of their family and friends! The school had a string instrument concert, where it became a debut of Podgorski’s talents. Podgorski’s music teacher opens up his act with kind words explaining his gift and ability to just listen to a song and play the proper cords. When watching this outstanding video you can tell just how passionate his music teacher is about his talent (and music in general).

A sweet introduction followed by a killer performance!

Podgorski hooks up his electric guitar to the amp while his classmates are wide-eyed.

He starts tearing up the strings as he plays the legendary song Eruption by Eddie Van Halen.

10-years-old and plays this epic piece the crowd cheering. The whole room was hypnotized as the music vibrated through the entire room. Podgorski’s talented skills had him doing riffs of his own creation to complement the classic song. His classmates were even amazed by his smooth talents!

This epic performance had the crowd roaring with applause.

At 10-years-old Padgorski effortlessly encapsulated an entire audience with the Van Halen song.

Now that kind of skill will only be greater with time. Padgorski has plenty more life to live and those talents will only become more polished.

Cudos to his music teacher who saw the radiant talent and knew it needed to be shared.

Even after a violin performance, his teacher was excited to kick off his electric guitar show!

Students need supportive teachers like that to fuel the passion these kids hold. Podgorski’s electric performance has almost 7 million views on YouTube! He even has his own channel where he continues to make waves with his guitar skills.

The power of these sites is immense when plenty of stars have been discovered on platforms like YouTube. Podgorski’s love for electric guitar lives on as he still captures the audience with his stellar musical ability. The electric guitar is not an easy instrument to learn and to have a 10-year-old play it like some of the pros is truly incredible.
