With the lockdown in place in many states and countries across the world, there is little reason to get dressed in the morning as if you were going to work. Why put on a button-up if sweatpants will do? Well, these Australians are making the most with what they have. With no reason to dress up or go out, they have taken their extra energy and are making an event of taking out the trash.

1. Supergirl

I think that the skirt really makes the entire outfit. When the world needs its trash taken out, who will answer the call? This guy sure will. You can really see this guy’s personality from the Mario tattoos he has on his feet!

2. Kentucky Fried Quarantine

Who doesn’t love the Colonel? I would eat fried chicken anywhere, maybe even off of a garbage lid. I would consider it even further if it was the Colonel himself delivering it to me.

3. Taking out the trash

It’s one thing to take out the trash and another thing to “take the trash out.” Ahhh, the English language is a beautiful thing. Rumor has it this couple is still going strong, seeing each other at least once a week.

4. Up and away

This Up costume is honestly pretty great. If only there were a Scout’s patch for helping a senior take out the trash. We may have seen Russel come if that were the case!

5. Lady Liberty and the Big T

I don’t know if this is a political statement or not. Regardless, it’s pretty funny and cute. These costumes are spot on.

I really hope that this guy was making motorcycle noises as he took his trash to the sidewalk. What a sight that would have been.

This is one Jurassic squad. They had a long day terrorizing the neighborhood and almost forgot to take the trash out.

This is one guy I don’t want to see when I am taking out the trash. I sometimes find myself sprinting back to my house when taking the trash out WITHOUT images of this guy in my head.

Cruella seems to be socially responsible here and is taking out her recycling. Maybe she is changing her ways.

11. Bin Chicken

Oh, you don’t know what a Bin Chicken is? It’s ok, we don’t either. This apparently is supposed to be one. I feel like I am more lost than I was before.

12. Trash Modeler

This is one trashy model. He looks pretty fab still. Those golden locks streaming down the side of the garbage bin really create a wonderful scene.

Conclusion:

People will always find a way to make something of their situation. These people took the lock-in with a grain of salt and still had some fun during their “extended homestay.”
