K-cups are great in many ways. They offer great tasting coffee and they are super convenient to use. Pop it in, brew a cup, and boom! You’ve got yourself an easy morning routine. However, they can start to feel like a burden when you watch them pile up.
Luckily, there are so many ways to reuse them. You just have to get savvy with it and then the world is your oyster! So instead of heading right for the trash after using them, get creative with these 12 brilliant ways to reuse them.
1. Make more coffee
That’s right, you can actually get more than one cup of coffee out of your K-cup! Who would’ve thought? Just fill up the cup with new coffee and put on a new cap. Find caps here.
2. Organize
It’s such a great idea to use K-cups to organize your things. Clean out the insides, rip off the tops, and start filling them with whatever you want! Paper clips, bobby pins, buttons, you name it.
3. Sandbox playtime
Empty, cleaned out K-cups would actually make a great tool for your children to play with in the sandbox! Just make sure that you’re cleaning them up after — especially if you’re on a beach.
4. Plant stuff
Did you know that you can fill your K-cups with soil and use them as seed starters? Why not make some green magic!
