With the Coronavirus pandemic spreading around the world, there’s a new normal emerging for people everywhere. That new normal includes wearing protective masks, but not everyone settles for the boring face shields that you buy at the store. Here are some of the most amazing masks we’ve seen people sporting.

1. That’s a mouth full

This mask was made by someone that used to work for the FX television station. At first, it looks like he actually has a huge mouth that’s wrapped around some kind of filter. When you look closer, you can see the outline of the mask right below the bottom of his eyeglasses.

2. Wooden mask with side vent

This mask looks like something a roman gladiator would wear. It’s fierce-looking, but elegant at the same time. If I had to choose my favorite, this one would definitely be in the top 3.

3. Bane mask

Anyone who follows the Batman movies or comics will appreciate this one. This lady is sporting an extremely crafty and accurate Bane mask. For those of you that don’t know, Bane is the villain played by Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises Batman movie released in 2012.

4. Excuse me mam, there’s an alien eating your face

This one might just be the coolest mask of all time. It’s like something right out of the legendary Alien movie! luckily for her, this is only a mask and not a real alien eating her face.

5. Drinking with your mask on

One of the biggest problems with wearing a mask all the time is not being able to take a simple drink of water and other beverages. In South Korea, they came up with a simple solution by putting a hole for straws on some of their masks.

6. “Hello Clarice”

This Hannibal Lecter mask is terrifying and awesome at the same time. I’d love to see peoples’ reactions to someone wearing one of these, now she just needs a straight jacket.

7. Loius Vuitton mask

If you have to wear a mask, you might as well do so with style! This Louis Vuitton mask reminds me of Sub-Zero and his brother Scorpion from Mortal Combat.

7. Bedazzled gasmask

If you’re going to do it, do it right. That’s what this lady did when she decided to bedazzle her mask. It’s got a bit of a punk rock vibe with all the studs, she did an outstanding job on this one.

8. Iron Man

Most masks only cover your mouth and nose, so why not get one that covers your eyes too? That’s what this guy did, he just threw on an Iron Man mask. Now everywhere he goes, people might expect him to fight crime too.

9. I think you’re wearing those the wrong way

When in doubt, just throw some underwear onto your face and call it a day. I really hope those are clean, that would be bad.

10. Marshmellow mask

This one looks really neat, I’d just be scared that I would be tempted to eat my mask and be left unprotected.

11. This one might just scare away COVID-19

One guy decided he’d like to frighten people every time he went out, so he designed a super scary monster mask equipped with custom filters.

12. Plague doctor mask

This mask is modeled after one of those old school doctor masks they wore during the plague, the super creepy looking ones that were shaped like birds. Although the colors and flower designs make this one a little less petrifying.
