We all know how bad dogs are at containing their happiness. Ever had a friend’s dog repeatedly jump up to greet you when you visit? Or had one bolt out the door to see you? Whenever a potential friend is around, dogs always want to be there. For this list, we’re looking at 12 of some of the cutest dogs doing just that.

1. Literally turn that frown upside down

Starting off the list is this goofy Siberian Husky, that’s managed to squeeze itself through this fence upside-down! We have no clue what’s happening on the other side of the fence that let it get into this position, but he seems to be okay, and is quite happy by the looks of it.

2. Daily dose of neck rubs

This little fella has been nicknamed “Fence Dog”. Although there are countless dogs that could also fit that name, this doggo was introduced as such to the people on Imgur who upvoted this post 10,000 times.

3. “Hey there, fellas”

We don’t know how long the kids here have been looking at this Shiba. It doesn’t matter though because this photo is too cute for its own good. This makes us wonder if this is their first interaction or if visiting this pupper is a regular stop for these kids.

4. The council will now judge you

Another Shiba entry on the list! If there’s a hole in a wall somewhere, you can bet a dog is going to peer through it sooner or later. This precious Shiba trio looks like a doggy council with their heads in the wall like this. Maybe they’re here to judge how good you are at giving head pets.

5. Psst, take me with you 23

Beagles are hounds, and like all hounds, their sense of smell is more sensitive than most other breeds. They can smell a potential new friend from quite some distance away. This one was photographed in Croatia, trying its best to introduce itself to the people outside.

6. Please let me stay here a few more minutes

Big doggos love to bury their faces in your lap for some reason. It’s heckin’ adorable and is totally worth the doggy smell sticking to your jeans. This one here is too hard to resist with his big loving eyes.

7. Camouflage attempt?

Our third Shiba on this list! Shibas seem to be an internet favorite (look no further than the Doge meme), and this one here has gotten itself stuck in a bush. He almost looks like he’s a fruit growing out of these hedges. We hope he wasn’t stuck in there for long!

8. Guys, not now, please

Seems like these two aren’t ones to be away from their human, even when he’s on the toilet. It’s very comical to look at, but it’s also all kinds of cute.

9. Please sir, may I have some more?

This doggo received some over-the-fence treats of barbecue. Named Daisy, she now constantly sits by the fence in this fashion hoping these humans might have more treats for her. We didn’t expect anything less.

10. Ever broke through a fence with the force of your sheer happiness?

This pupper is so adamant about playing with these folks that even a fence can literally not contain his excitement. Now, look at the sheer look of accomplishment on his face.

11. Paws on the fence

We don’t know who owns this pupper. If they don’t come back then he’s ours now! Jokes aside, the way this puppy is looking at us with his paw on the fence makes our hearts melt.

12. Isn’t groundhog day over?

This woofer managed to find a good sized-hole under the fence to squeeze his head through. Now any passersby who comes along is going to see the most adorable groundhog ever.
