We all know that saying something to your child does not mean they are going to remember or respect it. Sometimes you just need to put the truth down in writing.

Parents know that the minute they’re done cleaning the kitchen it’s only a matter of time before it looks like a warzone again.

But this mom means business when she tells her kids to keep it clean.

4. Don’t mind the machete

We don’t care what color a person’s skin is, we’d just be grateful for the heads up that someone would be innocently walking around with a deadly weapon.

5. Try not to set the house on fire

It’s nice when kids do laundry and all, but when they don’t remember to clean the lint trap a parent might as well do it themselves to prevent a house fire.

6. Stay connected

It’s pretty brutal to change the wifi password every day and make your kids earn it back.

Then again, it’s probably a VERY effective way to make sure chores get done early.

If it’s the latter, that’s pretty cold.

These parents are dead serious about the importance of meeting curfew.

So serious that they’re willing to let their teen sleep outside if they miss it!

How hard is it to put food away after you’ve finished serving yourself?

We’re truly perplexed that someone would leave out the ice cream.

But that’s a pretty hilarious prank.
