Husbands do the darndest things, right? You get married because you are in love but then more often than not, husbands start doing the weirdest stuff, like hogging all of the pillows in the bed and making their wives do strange things for the sake of a funny “joke.” It’s funny to them, at least.

We found 12 of the funniest (or weirdest?) things that husbands have done to make their wives go, “Yep, this is my life.” Get ready for a laugh!

1. Reasons my wife is crying

“My wife cries at absolutely anything,” this husband shared. “I mean, ANYTHING. So I started writing the reasons down because reasons.” So, what are these reasons he speaks of? She was hungover and saw a picture of a piglet, she watched a video about a dog, and he cooked dinner for her after a long day. Okay, seems like she’s pretty sentimental and we’re into it!

2. Too literal for his own good

His wife asked him to peel half the potatoes and put them in the pot, so that is exactly what he did. He literally peeled half the potatoes. He didn’t, you know, save half of them. Thanks for making your wife’s life just a little bit harder!

3. Made the bed

This husband decided to make the bed and this was the end result. He thought he was being funny when he told his wife that it was made “properly,” AKA with all of the pillows on his side. Hardy-har-har.

4. Work for it

This husband was trying to make his wife do some serious math on her birthday. Apparently, he had the candles, just not the right ones. Yeah, yeah, sure.

5. Interesting herb labels

This husband took labeling the herbs into his own hands and the result is… pretty hilarious. “Oregano Gangsta,” “It’s Go Thyme,” “I’m Kinda a Big Dill,” “I Beg Ur Parsley,” just to name a few.

6. Clean kitchen counter

This wife asked her husband to make sure the kitchen counter was clean. Technically, he did what she asked him to do, but we’re guessing she didn’t really want a sink full of dirty dishes.

7. A very extra party invite

This couple was throwing a New Year’s Eve party and the husband’s one and only job was to make invitations. This is what he came up with. “Who wants to come to this party?” His wife shared, questioning the whole thing.

8. One word can change everything

His wife put “We still do. 13 years,” on this leaderboard. Cute… Until her husband came along and added one extra word that changed its entire meaning.

9. Inappropriate card

This wife sent her husband out to grab a baby shower gift and you know what he comes back with? A birthday card with the “day” in “birthday” crossed out. Now it says, “Happy birth to you.” Genius.

10. Bad pie-baking skills

“Asked my husband to do a lattice over the apple pie I’m making. This is what he came back with,” this poor wife wrote. We just hope she wasn’t planning to serve the pie to any young children.

11. Punny

This man is definitely ready to be a father because he is already making dad jokes. This is the cake he got for their gender reveal party. It says, “We’re here for the sex,” on it which is pretty punny if you ask us.

12. Ouch

Husbands, please take note and don’t make a joke like this. If you do, your wife is just going to feel like she’s stuck in jail or something.
