Sometimes, you donā€™t just buy a doormat ā€“ you buy an image of a doormat. This pretty scammy seller trick was probably inspired by ā€œceci nā€™est pas un pipeā€, as this doormat is simply a piece of foam with a picture of a doormat.

4) Miniature cooking

Why on earth would something create a pan that is as small as this? You canā€™t even fit half an egg in thisā€¦ It seems like it was made for ants!

Sometimes, orders just simply get messed up and the wrong item is sent to the customer. Thatā€™s exactly what happened to this Star Trek fan, who received this beautiful DHL shirt instead of a Captain Kirk Starfleet uniform. Oops!

This brown bear isnā€™t exactly attractive-looking in the promotional images, but itā€™s actually even worse in real life! The bear mask isnā€™t cute or fluffy at all, and it looks like, well, judge for yourselfā€¦ At least it would be a good fit for a horror movie!

7) Not so transparent product images

Itā€™s clear that product images can be severely misleading, but this gorgeous dress actually turned out to be a major disappointment for this person, and you couldnā€™t see it on the product images at all. The bottom half of the dress is actually completely transparent, oops!

The expression ā€˜size mattersā€™ usually holds true, especially when youā€™re trying to buy a blanket. You canā€™t really do anything with a tiny blanket like this one, now can you?

This is another classic example of someone being sent a photograph of a product instead of the product itself. This man purchased an Xbox One console on eBay at the time it was released, and the story even made international news.

When youā€™re ordering gifts for a loved one and you want to keep it a secret, you can usually leave a message behind to the seller and ask for discreet packaging as a surprise element. It looks like this company didnā€™t quite get the messageā€¦

We canā€™t figure out whether this was sold to someone as a prank or not ā€“ but you have to admit, itā€™s a pretty hilarious gift. Some might even think that itā€™s better than the book!

12) Not a happy buyer

The expression on this manā€™s face really does say it all. He expected to purchase a cool and traditional lounge chair, but it looks like he forgot to read the ā€œBoysā€ part in the product title. Not an exactly an adult-sized chair, and not exactly a happy buyer either!
