Common sense isn’t common.

We’ve heard it before. But these photos show just how accurate that statement is. We all have our moments. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. These just happen to be really big ones!

Take a look at some of these head-scratching moments. You might just end up wondering, “What were these people thinking?” Try not to laugh too hard.

1) Just so many… questions

“What the…? What do we do now?!”

Being trapped is so stressful. But if you really apply yourself, you just might be able to find a way out… In the meantime, we need names on whoever approved this. We see potential here.

2) Welcome to college

Somebody’s college professor didn’t think this through… Or maybe, it’s a trap. You know how those schools like to keep you on your toes. Perhaps, this is some sort of test. Or just really, really, dare we say, dumb.

3) New word: sibling

It looks like someone doesn’t know the definition of the word ‘siblings’… Surely, they might have gotten it mixed up with ‘sisters?’ But I’m thinking maybe not. At least this person learned something new! I hope…

4) Walk me through your thinking process

Yeah, that’s not how it works… What was she planning on doing with a koala anyway? Not sure we really want to know. But this is gold.

5) Proofreading is everything

Really, proofreading is important! Mistakes happen but man, this is a big one. Clearly, they meant “ambidextrous.” Just imagine if this guy really was an amphibian… I think they would have used another picture. And the read would have been phenomenal.

6) So close, yet, not really

Mom’s heart was in the right place! She just had a moment… a very long moment. But I’m sure you were a good child and never went into your mom’s belongings. Right?

7) “They’ll never take you!”

Oh, buddy. No. This just isn’t… smart. You really have to look at the bigger picture in some cases. In others, you just have to think.

8) That’s my best friend!

Oh, Jenn. How do I explain my love for you and our friendship? I got it. I’ll post a screenshot of a mega brain fart of yours. But it’s all love. Just look at how concerned Jenn was for her friend’s phone. She might have had a moment but she seems like a caring person!

In Jenn’s defense, there were margaritas involved.

9) Major, major fail

Why would you do this?! What would tempt anybody to think that this was a good idea? This is really quite awful(ly funny). At least they got the “serious” look going for them.

10) There’s two?!

Yes, there are (at least) two Leonardos. Can you imagine, they also have two different occupations? This is one funny mixup. But the photos are cool. I would love to hear what Leonardo thinks. Clearly, I mean the award-winning one…

11) Welcome

You’ll never be locked out again. But neither will thieves. It’s bad enough hiding your key under the mat simply because so many people do it anyway. But this most definitely takes the cake.

On the other hand, what if it’s a decoy? Dun, dun, dun!

12) Swing and a miss!

Nope, it’s there. Just apply yourself a little bit more. I’m sure you’ll be surprised with what you come up with. I’d hate to see what the rest of this form looks like… I’m almost certain this paperwork was tragic.
