Just because a dog is huge doesn’t mean that it doesn’t want to be cuddled like a puppy! Take a look at some of these overgrown lapdogs if you are in need of a smile or laugh.

1. A Big Baby

Lincoln is a huge Burmese Mountain Dog who just wants to cuddle. These dogs can get huge! Lincoln is simply wanting to sit on his mom’s lap in this picture. He may have outgrown it!

2. Triple Threat (or treat?)

These Great Danes all want to spend some time with dad. Whenever he is watching TV is the PERFECT time to fight over lap space. With all of them being a different color they could be the three colors of a chocolate bar!

3. Wheel-barrow Pup

This horse *cough* dog has propped its back legs on its owner’s lap! This is called the “wheel-barrow sit”! This is the best position to protect your owner since you are as close as possible!

4. An arm and a leg.

This big boy seems to have absorbed his owner! All that remains is an arm and a leg. What better way to cuddle than to lay right on top. Talk about a heated blanket.

5. Bed Dog

This Irish Wolfhound sure seems mean! Just kidding, you can see how much he cares from how he stares into his owner’s eyes! How does the idiom go? Oh, yes, “Never bring a werewolf to bed”.

6. Tongues out

This dog definitely deserves his name, Pudge. Sitting on her lap with his tongue out gives truth to his name! He does look like a pudge. I’m sure his owner doesn’t mind.

7. Growing Pains

After two years, this dog’s owner really shrunk. He should probably get that checked out from a doctor! This is a dog who still thinks he is a pup like he used to be.

8. Recline in style

Some dogs are just cooler than their humans. This is one of those examples. This pup wants to sit like the humans sit. Maybe she just wants a photoshoot to showcase her suave style?

9. Car seat or human seat?

Little humans are required to have a car seat for safety. This pup wasn’t satisfied and decided to take matters into her own hands. What safer than a booster seat? A dog seat.

10. A spotted companion

This spotted friend knows his place. It’s in her lap. While being huge has its pros and cons, nothing is gonna stop this dog from sitting where it belongs.

11. Huge Cinnamon Roll

Plain and simple, this dog looks like a big cinnamon roll. This big buddy knows exactly where his rolls belong, however! Wherever his owner is, is EXACTLY where he belongs.

12. 3 for 1 special

Many dogs spend their days looking for just one lap to place their butts on. This dog has cracked the code and has found THREE laps to sit on. Life can’t get better than this.

Big or little, your pup probably loves to snuggle.
