The pandemic has definitely forced us to adjust our way of life to ensure that we are always safe from it. One major thing that we had to be flexible with is the way we procure items, especially groceries. These days, people prefer to buy their supplies by ordering instead of physically going to the stores to purchase them personally.

Meanwhile, although we find ordering online as a convenient way to still maintain the level of supplies at home amid the pandemic, the groceries that people receive are not always what we would normally expect, just like these 12 people who certainly did not anticipate the produce they got after ordering in the time of quarantine!

1. Large leek

This may look like bamboo, but really, you are looking at a leek. It’s almost the size of this woman’s arm!

2. Lengthy pear

Well, what do we have here? It is a pear and a really long one it almost looks like a cucumber. These produce are getting weirder and weirder these days.

3. Gigantic garlic

And would you look at that huge garlic! It’s gigantic and to be honest, it somehow resembled a shiny seashell to me.

4. Humongous asparagus

Asparagus goes great with steak. But, with one as big as this, you may as well consider it as a main course, instead of just a side dish!

5. Strange strawberry

I have never seen a strawberry as strange as this one. It looks like two strawberries melted and become one!

6. Super strawberry

Now, this is what I call a super strawberry. It has a bright pink color, thick leaves on top and sized as big as a child’s fist!

7. Odd sweet potato

I love sweet potatoes, and if I ever find one as huge as this one, I would absolutely rejoice! But still, we can’t ignore the fact that a sweet potato this size is a really odd one.

8. This turnip that is too big

Wow, this is one huge turnip! Compared with a regular turnip, it’s absolutely ginormous!

9. Giant grape

Nope, you are not seeing a purple-colored tomato. You are actually starting at a grape, a giant one at that! You certainly won’t be able to consume it in one bite.

10. Crazy carrot

Here’s one mutant carrot that looks like it’s up to something. Don’t you feel creeped out by this crazy orange veggie?

11. Enormous egg

Eggs can be large at times, but you probably won’t expect to see one as big as this. It doesn’t fit in the carton anymore! That’s going to be one huge omelette, for sure!

12. Oversized onion

And finally, this onion that’s bigger than this pup’s head. He looks weirded out by the oversized onion and we can’t really blame him!

What a weird set of produce that was

Just when you thought you’ve seen all the crazy in the world, life gives you a new set of strange things and you realize that you really ain’t seen nothing yet. These fruits and vegetables may be odd but we have to admit that they certainly provided some sort of entertainment while we are all on quarantine.

Who knows? You, yourself, might find a couple of crazy produce when you order online, too! That would totally be awesome and absolutely something that you need to share with the world.
