15 of the best dog posts from the past few weeks we need now more than ever

Dogs can put a smile on our faces during even the toughest times. That’s why we’re grateful for all of the adorable dog posts people have been making these past few weeks.

From the hilarious to the touching, here are 15 posts that put us in a good mood during the Coronavirus quarantine.

1. Distance is not his thing

Dogs don’t do social distance. They don’t even do physical distance.

A big shout out to all the folks trying to work from home with a 4-legged friend right now. It’s cute, but it’s not easy!

My coworker at home isn’t adhering to social distancing techniques. Please advise. from r/aww

2. Big Poppa

Ever since the first photo of Pop (aka Big Poppa) looking sad during quarantine surfaced, the Internet has been obsessed with this bulldog’s bummed out face.

Don’t worry – he only looks sad. He’s actually a very happy fella, even if he’s having the same problems fitting into his things as we are after sitting around all day.

3. Seeing double

We’d be cracking up too if we saw this paw-some duo and their likenesses on the road.

Something tells us they go on a lot of road trips.

4. Same

We look just as guilty after we eat all the cheese when no one’s looking.

Let’s just hope Frida left the plastic wrappers behind.

5. Never stop learning

People can’t get enough of the professor who asked her students to send photos of their pets with their textbooks.

We just hope that wasn’t their only motivation to crack open a book this semester.

7. All for nothing

Out of all the students missing graduation this year, is no one thinking of the dogs?

Poor Chalooby was a good boy throughout his training class, but they’ll be no pomp and circumstance to reward him.

What a waste of talent (but not of snacks).

8. Special delivery

Sometimes dogs just instinctually know what we need.

And while we rarely need a stick, we do like to see a friendly dog’s face when we open our door.

9. Guard dog

Meeko is simply too cute to be a guard dog.

Doesn’t this little pupper look like he’d let you right in for a few ear scratches?

10. New skills

There’s a lot of pressure to learn new skills during quarantine and we give up since this dog already has us beat.

doggo shows of his incredible talent, dont hate this talented doggo from r/aww

11. Homeschooling

Parents are really taking this homeschooling thing to the next level.

Then again, if you’re going to work from home, you also need to inform the residents of the rules.

13. The snuggliest

Is your heart melting? Are you jealous of this baby?

Either reaction is acceptable.

14. Cookie or doughnut?

Sometimes you see a dog photo and it doesn’t even have to be very unique to make you smile.

Dogs are just great like that, whatever shape they come in.

15. Through the years

Life sure seems precious right now.

So the photos of these two besties growing old together sure hit home.
