Going camping might be the safest kind of vacation you can take this summer. These hacks will make it so your camping trip goes without a hitch.
Coronavirus has made vacationing difficult. Many people are avoiding air travel (or are unable to access air travel!)
And many popular destinations have high rates of COVID-19.
But the great outdoors is still there! If you and your family go on a camping vacation, then you can socially distance easily and have fun.
But there’s camping and there’s camping smart. You don’t have to spend lots of money to make your camping vacation go smooth. Just visit Dollar Tree and use these items the right way:
1. Get some stackable boxes
Keeping things organized outdoors can be a hassle. With these containers, you’ll know where your essentials and luxuries are when you need them.
2. Store things in cake covers
It’s called a cake cover, but if you use it to cover other things, like paper plates or plastic knives and forks, no one will reprimand you.
3. Use mitts and kitchen towels
They only cost a dollar, so who cares if they get messed up during the vacation?
4. Use shower caps to cover dirty items
Your shoes won’t spread dirt onto the floor if they’re in a shower cap. It also works for dirty plates.
5. Equip everyone with tiny lamps/lights
Kids will like using them. They’re lightweight. And they’ll do the job!
6. Stock up on first aid items
Dollar Tree has band-aids, hydrogen peroxide and many other items that will help you out.
7. Strategically use glow sticks
These aren’t just for nightclubs. Place them on the tent ties so no one falls in the dark. And wear them so everyone can see your location at night.
8. Place pool noodles over hazards
You can also make the tent ties more noticeable by attaching pool noodles to them.
9. Use a pop-up laundry hamper
You’re going to accumulate dirty laundry.
10. Bring frisbees
Who doesn’t like playing with frisbees? And if you run out of plates, then frisbees will fill in.
11. Use a storage caddy
Another thing that will make organizing that much easier.
12. Fill up some pill containers
You can use these for pills or spices or anything else you need.
13. Fill up squeezy bottles
Perhaps you want to pre-mix a sauce, a pancake mix or anything else. Just put your mixtures in these squeezy bottles. And if you lose a water bottle, you can always use one of these.
14. Hang things in mesh bags
You can attach these to tent poles for some extra storage space.
15. Attach a clothesline to some trees
If you’re doing laundry, then this is an obvious purchase!
