A bottle of dish soap is actually more like a bottle of wonder-liquid that that be used to fix so many different problems.

1. Create a DIY ice pack
Dish soap doesn’t freeze. That means that you can make your own ice pack. All that you need to do is fill half a Ziploc bag with the soap, add another bag to the outside for safety, and put it in the freezer.
2. De-ice outdoor surfaces
If you mix one teaspoon of dish soap and one tablespoon of rubbing alcohol into half a gallon of hot water, then you’ll be able to melt away any icy areas outside and know that the melted area won’t refreeze for a while.
3. Get ants out of the kitchen
An effective way to kill and deter ants and other home-invading bugs is to mix one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide, one tablespoon of mouth wash and one tablespoon of dish soap. Then add the mixture to a spray bottle and spray at any place where you’ve seen bugs.
4. Stop bugs from attacking your houseplants and flowers
Get a spray bottle and squeeze a drop of dish soap into it. Then fill the bottle up with water and spray your plants/flowers with the mixture.
5. Make a bubble-blowing mixture
If you need to distract the kids for a while, then you can give them the gift of bubbles. Just get a cup of dish soap, six cups of water, a quarter cup of corn syrup and mix it into a container by putting the water in first and then slowly adding the soap while stirring. 8. Get bugs off of fruit trees
Anyone who grows fruit knows that bugs are constantly after your hard work. You can remove them by adding two tablespoons of dish soap to a gallon of water. Then put the mixture into a spray bottle and spray your trees! After 15 minutes, rinse the soapy water and bugs off the tree.

Just apply dish soap to any skin that’s touched poison ivy. It’ll make blisters dry up and stop the pain from spreading.

Just mix one teaspoon of dish soap with a cup of salt and one gallon of white vinegar.

If you mix milk and a little food coloring into a bowl and then add a cotton swab of dish soap to the bowl, the entire thing becomes a cool pattern.
12. Make AC system filters clean
Just soak the filter in warm water with dish soap, just like the dishes and scrub it with a toothbrush afterward. Once it’s dry, put it back in the unit.
13. De-flea your pets
Instead of buying flea shampoo, add a cup of dish soap to the bath. Soak and scrub your pets in this thoroughly. After, remove fleas with a comb.
14. De-fog and clean eyeglasses
Mix one part water and one part rubbing alcohol with a drop of dish soap. Then apply it to glasses with a spray bottle and rub the glasses clean.

Just rub dish soap into the gum, and the gum should start to loosen and crumble from the hair.
