15 animals too embarrassed to leave the house because their parents’ grooming went awry

We’ve all been stuck doing our own hair in quarantine. But the truly unlucky among us have had to rely on the amateurs we’re locked down with to give us a hand.

Of course, most of us can protest if we sense things going wrong. Unless you’re a dog, that is.

With groomers closed, many pet owners tried their own hands at the profession. And let’s just say there’s a reason people are trained and paid to do this!

Here are 15 dogs that are going to have to wait for their fur to grow out before they can show their faces at the dog park again:

1. Bangs are almost never a good idea

If even this adorable dog can’t pull off bangs, you need to step away from the scissors.

2. Leave it long on top

This man’s wife asked him to trim the dog’s fur.

Hopefully that’s the last time she’ll make that request.

3. He would like a refund

We would be demanding our money back if this ever happened to us.

At least give the pup some extra treats!

4. At least it grows back

This poor pup looks more like a bunny than a dog after his haircut.

5. Turkey travesty

We hope the weather is warm wherever this little bare-bodied pup lives.

Next time we hope this owner waits for the groomer or at least changes the blade on the trimmers.

6. Do you think this is a joke?

These dogs appeared to get some intentionally “creative” cuts – including a mohawk.

They’ll probably never misbehave at the groomers again.

7. There are no words

But at least he or she is still smiling!

Aww, poor pup. It’ll be a few weeks before he feels the wind through his fur again.

At least his mom realizes her mistake.

How did this uneven cut even happen? Did someone just take kitchen shears and cut wherever they wanted?

Didn’t they at least watch a video first?

13. Full of regrets

This dog is probably wondering why he didn’t just run and hide instead of sitting still for this crappy cut.

14. Apology not accepted

It might take a while for this previously puffy fella to get over his disastrous home salon experience.
