If you go to an animal shelter and are looking to adopt a pet, you’re certainly looking for that cute face or pretty fur coat to snuggle up to.

You’ll get a few hours of interacting with an animal and you have to decide, is this the one for you? But, once you’ve had the family pet for a while, you’ll finally get to see the type of personality they truly have.

Dogs have such big, and sometimes weird, personalities that they capture our hearts. They make us smile for so many reasons, just like these dogs you’ll see below. Get ready to see some hilarious photos!

1) Rain or Shine

Doesn’t matter what the weather is, this dog has his big brother to use as a hat to cover up. Sure would be a lot to wear on your head after a while.

This one really has me taking a second look. Dogs see the world a bit differently than most. Maybe take a third look too.

It looks pretty snug but, this pup likes to catch some sleep under the toilet. Don’t knock it ’til you try it.

That’s what they say but, in this case it’s literal. This guy just sits there like a toddler with their thumb in their mouth.

He’s so proud to have found this wild mushroom. Looks like he may have a had a few licks but, his owner says that’s just the way he looks.

Cheeeeeeeese! What a smile on this guy. The family Christmas card is gonna be knockout this year.

Didn’t you get a treat already? You have to let all the others get a treat and then if there is any left, you can have another.

This is what happens when you turn your back on these guys. They start trying to drown one another in the toilet.

When you just can’t wait for the Slurpee. Jump into the mini pond and relax. I don’t think he’s getting out of there anytime soon.

They think they are on the way to the veterinarian, but really, they are just going to the park. Oh, the emotional scars!

The owner couldn’t have been more surprised by the thoughtful gift his pooch brought him. I don’t know what to do with it, but it’s the thought that counts.

I don’t think that’s how that piece of furniture is supposed to be used but, who am I to tell a dog how to get ready for movie night.

This ankle-biter is the neighbor’s dog and this is how he gets the attention of anyone who is passing by. Too cute!

Dogs are obsessed with food and they will always find a way to get it. This pup is making a great effort to getting some cereal despite being on his back.
