Have you ever wondered whether your cat is crazy and what possibly triggers this weird behavior?

Well, the “midnight crazies”, as they call any wild behavior that happens at night, could be the result of various things. For example, let’s not forget that cats are natural predators and the behavior that we consider as crazy could actually be a hunting behavior or fighting skills exhibition that we do not recognize.

Another reason could be the fact that many cats are nocturnal and they just want to play and release their energy during the night, especially indoor cats whose humans work during the day and spend lots of time alone. If they have nobody to play with, then they “act crazy” in order to unwind.

Having said all that, it doesn’t mean that sometimes cat actions are not completely irrational and inexplicable. Some of them we have compiled below, and we can guarantee you’ll laugh out loud!

He thought he was going surfing, but he just ended up floating in the pool terrified!

Wow, this sofa is literally devouring the poor kitty! Hope someone helped her get out of there!

This is so not normal! Bet she’s either preying on something or escaping a dog!

He wanted to be part of the rainbow, so there you go!

All she wanted to do was show the duster to her friends. Guess they’ll have to see from the window.
