20 times people put their foot in their mouth and made the world face-palm
Social media turmoil has become so intense that people are constantly connected, exposed, and sometimes even provoked. We all know that you canât trust everything you read on the internet, but in some cases â you simply canât let go. There goes a screenshot, and the moment of someoneâs naiveness, ignorance or impulsiveness is saved forever.
Itâs not a problem when someone doesnât know the subject, the problem begins when a person is confident about the information that is simply nonsense. Here are 20 perfect examples where a statement screamed for a facepalm.
There is always a solution!
Just look at the profile photo of the Flat Earth Society. The irony has it that the flat Earth has been pushed into a rounded shape. Anyway, someone should brush up on his/her Geography books, as soon as possible.
Emily has just won the case!
Are these guys for real?! A woman canât be mature enough for an abortion, but she should have a kid either way. Now, the discussion âpro-choice, or pro-lifeâ has been a subject of many debates, but judges in Florida have clearly missed the point.
Good thing you didnât forget Antarctica!
Hmm, I wonder how that could happen

Here is someone else who wasnât paying much attention to Geography classes. Letâs just hope that this person isnât the same one who claims that the Earth is not a planet. It would be too much.
Say that out loud, but slowly!
Because making functional things from something generally thrown out is bad now.

Check it out: they claim to be saving fish by killing fish. Seems like a new method. Maybe it works, in another dimension.
All that work for nothing!
Mom is definitely a lot more enthusiastic about the carrot than her son is. The update is quite hilarious. The kid is lucky to have a mom with such a great sense of humor.
Sometimes itâs quite obvious!
Because why would you read the article before commenting??
by infacepalm
Next time, read the article carefully before asking a question thatâs been answered in the same article. Then again, weâre all guilty of scrolling over the text, without reading it all.
Donât you mess up with my degree!
We have a narcissist whoâs, hopefully, learned a valuable lesson. Narcissist or not, the guy seems to be disrespectful, and itâs good that someoneâs just put him in the right place.
Have we met?! Oh yes, plenty of times.
To be fair, a lot of us arenât good at remembering names and/or faces, but come on. This is your colleague, you work together, you see her every day. Maybe a team building would help?!
Donât judge a book by the lack of a book!

So, hereâs a nosy guy on the subway, going around, telling people what to do. Taking of social skills, and not having them.
But it seemed so real! Wait, Hamlet who?
I donât even know what to say…
byu/FavoriteMiddleChild indontyouknowwhoiam
Yes, reality and fiction can intertwine in so many ways, and you can almost feel like something happened, although it didnât. Not only that, but fictional people deserve to have their names changed. Imagine if Lewis Hamilton, for example, was in Hamletâs place in the 17th century. Who knows, maybe Denmark would be well-known for its Formula drivers.
At least he knows about the tweet!
You definitely stole your jokes

We think that the stand-up comedian should work a little bit more on his social media presence. That way, people would connect his face, and his tweets a lot easier. That might solve a thing or two.
More Geography enthusiasts!
Who knew it would be that hard to name a country without the letter âAâ in its name? Do Egypt, Sweden, Turkey, Greece, or maybe Seychelles, ring a bell?
So much patriotism!
Make sure to use the correct countryâs ship

The guy is probably proud of his country, weâre not questioning that, itâs just that he needs to be a bit more informed. We bet that the U.S. naval fortes certainly go further than the example that doesnât even belong there.
He was looking for it!
This case reminded us of the joke when a guy walked into the doctorâs office, wrapped up in duct tape. The doctor said that he can clearly see the guyâs nuts. Itâs funnier when itâs said out loud. Unfortunately, this guy wasnât joking. Not only did he come up with something as wrong as robbery, but he also had the courage to show himself.
Whoâs detaining who?
Sir I believe you have a case of mistaken identities

At first, you might not see something wrong with this photo. Look closely, the cop is strangling his colleague, not the guy on the bottom. And look at that guyâs face, with two policemen on top of him, trying to work out the arrest.
What is a parent supposed to do?
Hmm…..

The photo is quite traumatizing, that camel is swallowing the boyâs head. Good thing he has someone to take a photograph of the event heâll enjoy remembering.
Weâre a bit worried about that âculoâ part
Actual tweet from my local library this morning

Spanish is, indeed, a very beautiful language. Itâs just that this person doesnât know it. We guarantee that âyo quiero comer culoâ is not a way to say to someone that you love him. âComerâ translates to âeatâ, and we wonât translate the rest. Just take our word on this one and avoid âcomerâ and âculoâ in the same sentence.
A lady is proud of her education!
The top minds at /r/pussypassdenied miss the point once again and the wit of a woman goes over their collective heads. I wonder why they’re all single and hate women…

Sometimes, people are just asking a very simple question. There is no nothing between the lines, you should simply answer it. Good thing youâre a doctor, though.
Heâs definitely entitled to an opinion!

What else are you supposed to do when someone questions your knowledge about your profession?! You repeat to them, once again, that you know a thing or two about something youâve been involved in your whole life.
spooky choppa didnât get the memo about protecting his privacy on the internet!
