Dogs certainly didn’t get dubbed “man’s best friend” because humans didn’t like them. Everyone loves a happy dog. Dogs do goofy things, and they make us smile. And sometimes we do goofy things… and our dog smiles? Yes!

You’ll see, just like humans, dogs can smile for photos too.

Good thing we have photos of those moments, and because of the internet, we all get to witness it.

1) Floppy Dog

I know this poor pup hurt his foot but, let’s not concentrate on that. Let’s look at a more-than-happy owner being able to carry his dog out of the clinic. I’d carry that pup anywhere!

2) Pilot and Co-pilot

These two are ready to tackle the skies together. You can tell it’s the “friendly skies” too. Just look at those adorable smiles. I think these guys have just ‘taken-off’ with my heart.

3) Who’s ready for cake?

This looks like a birthday party no one would want to miss. Hilarious hats and tennis balls for everyone but, one particular golden retriever has the most impressive smile.

4) Dancing or fighting?

These two are definitely dancing. A romantic cabin destination for two, and now is the time to put those dance classes to the test. “Alright, hands on your partner’s shoulders.”

5) Are you my mommy?

All these newborn chicks are trying to find their purpose in life. Just like most of us, it’s playing under the sun with a furry doggy. I’m not sure who is luckier, the chicks or the dog?

6) Baby Baby

We welcome a couple of newbies to the planet Earth. Nothing makes growing up easier than with a best friend. You can tell these two will be united for life.

7) Keep eating your vitamins

This little boy wants to grow up quickly. He’s trying to squeeze his way up to the next level. But no hurry, we all want to keep you at this size forever.

8) This snowman is cold

He’s keeping these dogs’ tennis ball away from them. We all know that these golden boys destroyed that snowman 5 seconds after his photo was taken. They jump on everything!

9) Talk to the hand

I’m not sure if this little puppy wants to hear any more life lessons for the day. Momma dog will have to start again tomorrow once the attitude goes away.

10) What a lovely couple

It’s your special day, you two! The Dachsunds are dressed up for their big day, and the bride has even worn her little pearl necklace. Congratulations!

11) Therapeutic

Some of us find house chores to be a form of therapy. By the looks of it, that smile indicates this golden boy feels the same way. Make sure you plug the iron in, or you’ll be there for a long time.

12) Watch me

This baby girl has just learned a new trick. It’s called the “flying tennis ball jump.” And she will be joyously performing the trick every day for the next 15 years. Enjoy the show!

13). Safety is #1

This old boy is too cute! He seems to have “walking” all figured out. He’s more than happy to sit in his wagon, get pulled around, and still enjoy the outdoors.

14) First dance

What a lucky bride! That’s a handsome boy getting the first dance. Big smiles for both of them as they dream of the honeymoon to the local dog park.

15) The dream

This kid may be just a couple of years old and already has fulfilled the dream we all have of taking a snooze in a laundry basket with a few puppies. What’s next kid?

16) In-training

One day you’ll be helping officers with making the world a safer place, but for now, you just keep making the world a happier place by making people smile.

17) Mmmmmmm

I can’t decide if I want to have a cheeseburger or be that dog having a cheeseburger? I hope I look that good while I’m eating my lunch too.

18) Proud momma

You did it! You’re now a proud mother. I know if I looked into my laundry basket and saw this instead of what’s actually there, I’d be much happier, and I wouldn’t have to do laundry.

19) Best friends

These two look to be at home on the range. They have apparently worked out a deal to bathe each other, and anyone who says this isn’t right is insane.

20) Chubby puppies

How many puppies can you put in your arms and say, “chubby puppy?” All of the puppies. That’s the correct answer.
