20 harmless photos that you’ll never be able to get out of your brain
They say a picture is worth a thousand words – but sometimes they leave you speechless.
These 20 photos are relatively harmless but we still can’t get them out of our heads.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
1. This…egg?
Despite folks on Reddit claiming that misshapen eggs aren’t all that uncommon, we’ve certainly never seen anything quite like this.
And we’re grossed out for pretty much no reason at all.
2. This optical illusion
We promise there’s a whole dog there.
He just looks like he was the victim of a magic trick gone wrong.
3. Deep sea Doritos
Some guy posted this on Reddit wondering what the creatures were. It turns out it’s a Photoshopped pic, and yet somehow we’re still not in the mood for Doritos anymore.
Oh, and those are giant isopods – they live in the deepest parts of the ocean and do not have a penchant for Doritos. But now anytime you see a photo of them, you’ll think they do.
4. These safety goggles
If our high school chemistry teachers had just shown us photos like this instead of harping on us to wear our safety goggles, we would have done it without any argument.
5. This flock of demon sheep
Nope. Nope. Nope.
We’re moving to the city.
6. The calm before the storm
We love being out on the water, but this storm is enough to make a land-lubber out of us.
Just look at those waterspouts! Yikes!
7. This dog’s face
We can’t even look.
Dogs are amazing, but we just can’t even with this one.
We’re going to keep scrolling and hope that they lied when they said it wasn’t Photoshopped.
8. This extra-creepy hornet’s nest
A Redditor posted this with the note: “An abandoned hornet’s nest my dad found in his shed that he hadn’t been in for a couple years. The head is apart of a wooden statue it fused with.”
It’s almost beautiful. And yet part of us would want to immediately nuke it from space to get rid of it.
9. This “totally harmless” spider
It’s not harmless if it gives you a heart attack!
That’s Australia for you!
10. The Wallago Attu catfish
If Pennywise from It had an aquarium, this gruesome creature would be in it.
Just throw the whole fishing pole in and find dry land if you see one of these – they know how to use those teeth!
11. Bend it like…OMG!
This is not how you lift weights – this is how you break your back!
Flexibility is only so helpful if you don’t have arm strength.
12. Seatbelts on!
Heck no!
There are many “roads” like this in South America and some other mountainous regions in Asia.
But we don’t care what the destination is because we’re NOT getting on this bus.
13. Anybody need a shiv?
This bowl managed to break into over a dozen tiny deadly weapons.
Didn’t this go through any safety testing before it was sold?
14. This trippy tattoo
If you can look at this without blinking 10 times and trying to readjust your eyes, then maybe you’re the one who is drunk.
15. This snake stuck inside a gas pump screen
You know what? We’ll just go ahead and run on fumes.
16. Mac and chum
This young woman is pretty proud of her “seafood mac n cheese.”
To each their own, but we prefer ours without eyeballs.
17. This guy’s eyelid
Yep, it’s stuck in a zipper.
Nope, we have no idea how such a shudder-inducing thing happened.
18. Peeps with hair
Who does this?
Is someone going to eat these?
19. This photo of a seal from the top
We thought seals were pretty cute up until this point.
Now we know you need to be looking at them head-on in order to appreciate them.
20. This wasp nest
Seriously?
Could they have picked a creepier place to build a nest than a doll mysteriously stuck in a tree?!
