It goes without saying that our dogs are our best friends in the world. They’re there for us for both the ups and downs. They’re our partners in crime, and they always want to be right by our side. Without a doubt, dogs are one of the greatest things about living on this planet! Sometimes, though, every now and again, these four-legged criminals go rogue and end up getting dog-shamed for their crimes.

While we hate to see our buddies end up in the dog-shaming jailhouse, these 20 hilarious photos show that, sometimes, getting dog-shamed is just what they deserve!

1. Dog-shamed for: ball-biting

Nipping is a behavior you want to nip in the bud right away. Otherwise, like this dog owner, you will end up getting nipped in the balls. Trust us, sometimes a kennel is worth the whining.

2. Dog-shamed for: stealing food from Buddha

We love our little fur babies with good reason, but sometimes we can admittedly go a little overboard. That’s when your pup gets a bit big-headed and starts stealing food offerings from your neighbor’s deity.

3. Dog-shamed for: indulging in the forbidden poo

Dogs may be adorable, but don’t let the cuteness fool you. They can be disgusting at times. As you can see here, they don’t feel any remorse about it, either.

4. Dog-shamed for: religious rebellion

This dog is being shamed for his outright vandalism of his owner’s bibles. When you think about how much paper that is, we’re thinking when he goes to poop it out it will be consequence enough.

5. Dog-shamed for: getting shit-faced

Usually, when you hear this phrase it’s pertaining to your drunk friend making an ass of himself. This dog was sober and used someone else’s ass to accomplish the same thing.

Sometimes our dogs can be huge jerks. Unfortunately, they are also smart jerks. If there’s something they want, they will find a way to get it, even if it means germing up your food.

7. Dog-shamed for: poop shenanigans

Sometimes dogs only think they are smart. They will try to pull tricks on you that are beyond obvious. Like this little guy who thinks he can make his mom believe there is an invisible pooper in the house.

Like we said, sometimes our furry friends can be absolutely disgusting. That’s when they go from being your partner in crime to being shamed for their rebellious actions. Some of their crimes merit it more than others, and chowing down on some cat poop is definitely one of them.

This is just particularly mean. Either this dog is ingenious when it comes to getting back at his owners, or it was by pure chance. Either way, the punishment totally fits the crime here.

People who have never owned a dog may think it’s all sunshine and rainbows, and sometimes it is. What they don’t know, though, is that sometimes those rainbows smell like crap. Like brightly colored, Crayola infused crap.

We’re almost not sure this poor pup should be on the list. While there is no doubt he’s guilty, the burden of his crimes seems to fall mostly on him. Then again, I suppose if his owners know about it, they are suffering too.

Sometimes the most frustrating thing about your dog’s crimes isn’t always the crime itself. Sometimes it the discrimination they show when they commit them. Like, if you’re gonna destroy a pair of shoes, why not destroy both. It’s like the dog wants her to know that she’s being bad on purpose

This guy definitely deserves his punishment. He has a whole laundry list of offenses and there is zero question of guilt.

Sometimes dogs are just dumb. This is one of the best examples of that. Who eats a whole tub of vaseline? You’d think after the first bite he’d of stopped eating it. Let’s just hope he doesn’t find it equally enticing after it exits his body.

This dog did a double no-no when he decided to pee in the house. Not only did he break the rules, but he chose to pee on something that would projectile his little pee pellets all over the room. If only we could make them clean their messes up…

Some dogs can be absolute grumps about everything. True terrorists of joy. When you ruin everyone’s Christmas, though, you really are a royal Scrooge. We’re thinking he’s not going to find much in his stocking this year.

Sometimes dogs can also be perverts. They might not know it, but they do things that make you feel violated sometimes. Like when they spy on you in the shower and then lick your butt when you least expect it.

This is a crime that many dog owners are all too familiar with. It’s also one of the most expensive. Dogs can be great, but many are known furniture serial-killers. If you get a dog, don’t invest in nice furniture.
