20 parents whose cringe-worthy moments were captured on photo so they could be shamed

Parenting is hard work, but that doesnât mean you get to change diapers at a restaurant table or let your kids tear apart a toy store. Not only is that being a bad person, but youâre teaching your kids a gross sense of entitlement as well.
Parent-shaming is pretty unnecessary most of the time, but every now and then, someone does something so absolutely unbelievable that you just have to show the Internet what theyâre capable of.
Hopefully, if these parents saw themselves online they realized that what they did was unacceptable.
1. Down in front
Ah, yes, the parent that thinks theyâre the only important person in the room.
While itâs not the worst offense, it sure is a dolt move. And we kind of hope someone posted this photo on social media and she recognized herself.
2. How dare you photograph me being a jerk!
While many photos have faces blurred out to protect both the innocent and guilty, this one went viral without any alterations.
But, seriously, who changes a kidâs diaper on top of new clothing that a store is trying to sell?!
Yes, she was outraged someone would take a photo and weâre not sure it was the right thing to do, but her behavior is NOT ok.
3. Damage control
We think some damage has already been done when it comes to the kids who destroyed a store aisle like this.
The little hurricanes may have been chastised, but they certainly werenât made to clean up their mess.
And THATâS how you get an entitled brat.
4. The world is your trashcan
Parenting requires changing a lot of diapers. But it also involves figuring out what to do with them in all sorts of situations.
Apparently, people need to be reminded that sticking them in store merchandise isnât ok.

5. Balloon buffoon
A little kid doesnât realize that their balloon is in the way of other peopleâs view in the theater. Itâs probably their birthday and they didnât want to let go of it.
But itâs a parentâs job to explain to them that this isnât right. Isnât that easier than being kicked out?
6. Sir, can you stop being a slob?
These two arenât making a disgusting mess in their living room. Nope, too easy.
Theyâre on public transportation.
And just setting aside the mess for a moment, can we talk about the need to wear shoes for sanitary reasons?!
7. For the love of country
Wow, letting your kids climb on a war memorial is next-level crappy parenting.
You know people didnât fight for your freedom to be a jerk, right?
8. Would you like poop with that?
If a restaurant isnât going to ban children, then you have to be somewhat understanding of their behavior at first.
A good parent will remove them from the situation immediately if they canât behave.
But some â like this woman â will decide to just plop them on the table to change a diaper. Itâs so unsanitary that itâs not something weâd even do in our own kitchen!
9. Who needs history?
We understand that exploring archeological sites can be boring for kids. But maybe make them leave the toys in the car so they donât step on ancient mosaics to fetch them when they get out of control.
Is that too much to ask?
Thereâs no evidence that the piece was damaged, but we think the damage has been done to this kid by their parents who clearly never taught them self-control.
10. Safety measures
Have you ever looked at the warning label on a plastic bag and wondered âwho needs to be told not to put this over their head?â
Well, now we know.
11. We all know these parents
If youâve ever been on the receiving end of one of these sky nightmares, you know why we canât even find the words right now.
12. They meant to take this photo!
Weâre confused as to why anyone might find this funny.
And weâre going to assume it was a joke because the alternative is so much worse.
13. No respect
Even if the kids are too young to read or notice, the parents arenât. Is it so hard to remember that the whole world is not your childâs playground?
14. The perfect shot
Weâre just so embarrassed for the poor child whose mother decided not to sit in the stand with the other parents but pull up her own chair to get a shot of her kid performing.
Itâs one thing if youâre a photographer trying to get the perfect shot, but this is just a rude woman with a camera phone acting like a complete fool.
15. For life
Wow.
We really like tattoos, but not on preteens. And we donât know what goes on in a parentâs mind when they let their child do something so permanent at such a young age.
They donât even have good taste yet!
16. âLearningâ
Sure, just go ahead and take up space at something designed to be educational when all you want to do is sit around on your phone and let your kids make a mess around you.
Parents deserve a break, but employees shouldnât have to clean up because of it. And denying kids who want to use it correctly the opportunity to play is just beyond trashy.
17. No crying in the store
Yep, thereâs a baby in there. No parent to be seen.
This isnât one of those âI just turned around for a secondâ moments, itâs one of those, âI just left my baby outside because I couldnât evenâ moments.
18. Pointless parenting
Not only did this gem of a mom pull her chair up to the door to gawk at her daughter and the rest of the children in the ballet class while they tried to concentrate, but she blocked the view of the other parents.
And if that werenât enough, sheâs not even looking â sheâs staring down at her phone!
Get a clue, lady!
19. Oh captain, my captain
This kid is being a brat. And heâll probably continue to be a brat if his parents donât teach him how to behave.
No one wants whatever is on the bottom of this kidâs shoes anywhere near their food.
Seriously, who lets this happen and just keeps eating? Youâre in public!

20. Emergency preparedness
We get it, you have to go to the grocery store and maybe your kid hates that.
But if your kid is old enough to ride a bike, then theyâre old enough to be told they canât ride it inside the store.
