20 people whose antics keep their neighbors on their toes
Neighbors can be great friends or bitter enemies – and lots of things in between. In fact, sometimes they’re just plain weird.
We’re not entirely sure what makes people want to draw attention to themselves in weird ways, but more often than not there’s just no good explanation other than “people are weird.”
Take these 20 neighbors, for example:
1. Take that, Bob!
Apparently, Bob was tired of looking at his neighbor’s unpainted fence. But it looks like Bob complained one too many times about something that really wasn’t his business.
Now Bob gets to see this every day.
2. Do it for the animals
That’s one way of guilting people into not littering on your lawn.
Who drops a cigarette butt on other people’s property anyway?! Disgusting!
3. There goes the neighborhood
We can’t explain it. It’s interesting, that’s for sure.
It’s hard to be offended by it, but it’s probably easy to be annoyed.
So my friend found this in her new neighbor’s front yard… from r/funny
4. Toke(n) of apology
Instead of just asking their neighbor to take a chill pill they sent them a joint.
Now we just really want to know how this all played out.

5. Don’t rob The Rock
That’s one way to keep people from knocking on your door (or busting it down).
You’re only in trouble if someone is coveting that cardboard cutout.
6. What the…?
The chafing! The sun exposure!
And then there’s the danger in general.
We’re not sure what this guy was thinking but he looks like he might be under the influence of something other than paint fumes.

7. Aerial attack
Now that’s clever. We really want to know if the neighbor ever saw this and who pointed it out to them.
And do you have to maintain that year after year to make sure the satellite catches it?
We have so many questions.
8. Curb appeal
Maybe these folks wanted to spruce up their yard without committing to a landscaping scheme.
We’re glad it’s getting some water though.
For the past two days, my neighbor has an Agave plant in his truck. He’s been watering it and everything… I haven’t had the courage to ask him why yet. from r/pics
9. People are weird
What can we say? If that’s how you want to cover your face, then at least no one is going to come close enough to stop you.
But we imagine there’s some room for ventilation in there, so we’d still ask them to put on a mask if they went into a store.
10. WiFi signals
This is passive-aggressive neighbor bickering at its best.
We can only hope it escalated from there even though that’s quite a commitment to changing your router name on a regular basis.
11. But why?
Actually, that’s a small Godzilla statue.
We’re just glad they didn’t go for the life-sized one.

12. Classy
This sign has become increasingly popular for baby gender reveal parties over the last few years.
We’re not sure it screams “I’m ready to be a parent,” but theoretically they still have a few more months to mature.
13. Roll her home
How long does a tortoise need to be missing for it to get so far away you have to wheel it home on a skateboard?
Seriously, inquiring minds want to know.
Neighbor’s tortoise escaped and walked almost a street away. At around 250 pounds, this was their solution to get her home! from r/funny
14. That’s dedication
We’re not sure what’s so spooky about the scene, but apparently you can add skeletons to anything and call it Halloween decor.
To be fair, this is one seriously clever and elaborate set-up.

15. Happy fun time
There’s are worse things people could park on the street.
We’re always a little wary of neighbors that summon the local children to their home, but some people really are just trying to make their neighborhoods a more fun and interesting place.
My neighbor is a tractor enthusiast. He drives kids around the neighborhood to catch pokemon and visit pokestops. from r/gaming
16. Up, up and away
Well, that’s festive.
We prefer our lawn ornaments a bit less phallic, but to each their own.
17. Resolution
We don’t know how bad the dandelion situation got, but you can’t really ask someone to chemically treat their yard if they don’t want to.
Who knows, maybe the “free flower” trick worked.
When you receive a complaint from your neighbors, it’s important that you do your best to resolve it. from r/funny
18. Daring decor
Well, now that’s something you don’t see every day.
We mean a neighbor with an alpaca as a pet, of course.
Nana sent me a picture of her neighbour’s alpaca humping their new stag sculpture. from r/funny
19. But is it plugged in?
You probably shouldn’t nuke your mail, but on the off chance you lose a mailbox and need a receptacle…
No, sorry, this still doesn’t make any sense.
My neighbors’ mailbox is a microwave. from r/mildlyinteresting
20. Neighborhood celebrities
When the Porn Hub car rolls up on filming day, chances are you should just draw your blinds and turn up the music.
Hey, it’s better than filming an action movie with lots of explosions, right?
My neighbors said they would be filming a “movie”. Not really what I had in mind. from r/funny
