We take nature for granted. It’s because it’s so consistently predictable. Waves lap on a shore all day, every day. The ebb and flow of the tides can be viewed on an app. All is good, until one day, a king tide washes an entire beach free of everything and everyone on it. Or even worse, a Tsunami.

Yet, we all enjoy the beach and continue to return even when these “freak of nature” type of events occur. That’s because we know that the odds of it not happening are far greater than it happening.

In a forest, it’s hard to decipher one tree from another. They literally look like carbon-copies most of the time. But very rarely, a “freak of nature” happens with trees. They can resemble human faces, contain body parts, or look like mythical creatures. These are the things that are unpredictable with nature.

We bring you 25 of the craziest trees, that will blow your mind.

1. Behold! The Tree-Beast

If you couldn’t see it before, the person who added the demon-eyes made it easy. I wouldn’t want to be walking by myself.

2. The original Pinocchio

It’s a wooden boy! Well, whatever it is, there is no doubt it looks like a living thing. Is it pulling the tree out of the ground? Some people think it’s humping the tree.

3. The Grinch

Dr. Seuss would be proud to have seen nature create a shrine to one of his most famous creations, the Grinch. How can you not see it?

4. Things are getting weird

This one is much more elaborate. It’s known as the “thinking tree,” and I think it kinda looks like Shrek.

5. That downtown tree

Sad. Smelling car exhaust, people, winding lights through your branches- it’s loud, and dogs pee on you. This is your life, and I can understand why you feel that way.

6. Life imitates art.

Or is it the other way around? Some say this looks like a Ninja-Turtle, but, for me, it’s much scarier. Ever seen “Return to Oz?”

7. Massive

It seems most of the time something unique is in a tree; it’s a face. This is a sculpture. It can send a full-body pic if it wants to.

8. Just Creepy

What are the odds that a tree falls next to another tree, and this is the result? Maybe Satan is holding-on under all trees. Jeez, horns and all.

9. Uncanny

So this tree has the DNA of a human nose in it. How else can it be explained? Because it has grown a perfect nose. Even a famous artist couldn’t sculpt a better nose. Crazy!

10. I’ll take a guess

I don’t know what type of tree this is but, if I were to guess, I’d say its a dragon tree.

11. Alligator Tree

You can tell it’s an alligator tree because of its pointed nose. As opposed to a crocodile tree, which has a rounded nose.

12. Winking

You know when you try to wink, but your whole face gets involved?

13. How can this be explained?

This isn’t Angkor Wat. This a tree that grew with this very detailed face on it! You could have told me aliens did this, and I would have gone with it.

14. Currently in Russia

People are turning into Birch trees. This is a gigantic woman with the skin of a birch tree. That’s just what it is.

15. Sense of humor

Good to see that nature doesn’t just want to scare the hell out of us. Nature wants to make us laugh too. Butt-Face

16. Mind your manners

Just cause something gets your attention, doesn’t give you the right to eat with your mouth open. You’re getting ivy everywhere!

17. Broccoli

This is a vegetable intervention. This is a sign you’re not eating enough veggies. Take it very seriously.

Octopus are highly intelligent; the extent of their intelligence and learning capability are not well defined. Maze and problem-solving experiments have shown evidence of a memory system that can store both short- and long-term memory. It is not known precisely… Oh, Wait! This is a tree.

19. Should have seen the other guy

That look you have on your face, the first time you get punched. And your nose goes one way, and your mouth goes the other.

20. Creepin’ and a Peepin’

Could you imagine how uncomfortable you’d be if you had an Eye Tree outside your window? It never talks, just watches.

21. Moose’s head

Not just a moose head, it’s an intense moose head. It would be intimidating with this looking down on you.

22. Frozen

If you came across this tree, you’d stop dead in your tracks with fear. It looks like some dude’s amazing Halloween costume.

23. Good luck

You’ve found a dragon! That’s a symbol that brings good luck to those that are worthy. Get a lottery ticket and find out.

24. Bulging

This is at a campsite somewhere out there in the world. I can relate. I never know what to do while camping so, I just clinch it until it goes away.

25. Outlived all men

This face has outlived all men, and it never even had a body. In all seriousness, I can’t get over how real it looks. Amazing nature, folks!
