25 teachers who totally outdid even themselves
A great teacher learns how to teach using different methods based on each student. People don’t learn in the same ways. Sometimes it requires some creativity or sometimes a more harsh approach to get students to understand.
We are so glad these 25 teachers exist and don’t just teach from textbooks. We are here to showcase their “out of the box” teaching methods that will better prepare kids for the real world.
Off to school, we go!
1. Breaking Bad
You have to get the students’ attention. So, of course, you should dress the part. This chemistry teacher taught as the character from Breaking Bad, Heisenberg.
2. The Gentlemen’s Club
These teachers started a club to teach the students life lessons. Most of these students don’t have a male role model in their life, so these teachers are there for them for direction and advice.
3. Build them up
Before this teacher starts teaching his special education students, he spends 10 minutes giving each of them individual compliments. He says this ritual has raised his students’ self-esteem and confidence.
4. Time to be tough
This teacher caught wind that one of his students was in the bathroom smoking. Nothing passive here. It’s time to surprise her and deal with it.
5. Not about the money
In the most honest way, teaching has nothing to do with money. It’s about giving kids the tools to give themselves the opportunity to succeed. This man works at a general store and teaches poor kids in India at a makeshift classroom under a bridge. He hopes they don’t have to endure the hardships he had gone through.
6. The extra mile

9. Education is important
Teachers know that it is essential that you receive an education regardless of your situation. This teacher is committed to her students.
