3-year-old wins 1st place with adorable routine

For those people who have never been onto the ice while wearing boots with blades, standing on it is already difficult.

Maintaining your stance is another factor- one that makes you feel the true power of gravity.

In fact, with or without ice skates, making any kind of movement on the ice is really hard. May it be just standing, keeping your balance, walking, and of course, gliding at high speed.

If a full-grown adult finds it hard to be on the ice, then wouldn’t it be much more so for a kid?

Nah! In fact, some kids are rather good at it. They are actually delightful to watch whenever they skate on the ice. Their adorable little movements are so fun to watch.

Watch this 3-year-old toddler, Brynn Cartagena as she displays her winning routine in the Magnolia Open Ice Skating Competition.

Just like any other contestant in any competition, Brynn is a little bit nervous. Who wouldn’t be?

It would probably scare anyone- competing on a slippery surface at only 3 years old!

For the record, she’s only been on the ice for 8-weeks!

Will she do good? Let’s all find that out.

Despite the chills and probably some pinches of stage fright, Brynn heads out in the center of the ice rink. She shakes it off by gliding a couple of moments and, just seconds after, she’s ready to put on a show!

We haven’t seen her full potential yet at this point- however, her face shows that she loves figure skating. She smiles as she slides, we can already tell that she will continue skating on the years to come.

It’s time to show the people what she’s capable of!

The music turns up and so does Brynn! She starts skating on the ice and this time, with confidence. Can you guess the song for her performance?

She figure-skates to an all-time favorite children song- none other than “The Muffin Man!”

The song works perfectly for Brynn, fusing the adorable song with her charm, she wins over the hearts of the people watching and the judges’ scorecards as well.

How is she able to pull off those moves?!

I can barely stand on the ice myself. It’s hard not to be concerned about Brynn’s safety as she does her routine. After all, she’s just a toddler, and she’s just a trip away from stumbling down the hard ice.

However, as she continues to glide her way around the ice rink, that nervousness will eventually vanish.

Brynn’s posture and little movements will amaze you in more ways than one.

Brynn puts some heat on the ice!

This 3-year-old competitor is not “kidding” on her performance. She also does a couple of skids backward and the most entertaining part for me (hopefully for you too) is her cute little spins.

She spins and tiptoes as she ends her sweet performance.

She smiles at the crowd like she’s asking them, “did you guys like it?”

If we are just talking about charm, then Brynn’s already our champion.

Her innocence and young passion for the sport is more than what we could expect from a kid of her age.

She executes her routine with a smile on her face and she performed well despite having a limited time of practice. If she’s already that good with just 8 weeks of practice, imagine what she can bring to the table in the future.

At the age of three, she already has earned a 1st place win in this sport. We’re 100% positive that she will do exceptionally good, not only in her own future but the future of the entire sport.
