Talent can be found at any and all ages, but there’s just something special about little children who are passionate about something and aren’t afraid to show it to the world. The five-year-old Roxy Brennan is definitely one of those talented kids who has mesmerized the audience of a local dance competition.

The little girl’s energetic performance was so memorable that it even went viral on the internet with millions of views.

Roxy decided to perform choreography on the hit tune “Manic”, which you may remember from the movie Flashdance.

Flashdance was released back in 1983 and even though it certainly shows its age, the impact it had on other movies and the industry is undeniable. The film was directed by Adrian Lynne and tells the story of a nightclub dancer, portrayed by Jennifer Beals, who wants to become a professional ballerina.

“Maniac” was one of the tracks in the movie, and it’s a classic song that everybody knows, but Roxy definitely puts her on twist on the song with a brilliant performance.

Her dancing prowess is, without a doubt, incredibly impressive for someone who’s just five years old.

Roxy performed at the 2019 Baltimore Kids Artistic Revue Dance Competition and she truly stood out. Nobody was really surprised to hear that the little girl got the number one spot in the competition.

From the very first second of the performance, you can tell that this little girl has a ton of strength, passion, and energy in her.

The moves she makes are eye-catching and Roxy’s stage presence is absolutely amazing.

She doesn’t only do the song justice with her dance moves – her facial expressions are also perfectly on point and she does a brilliant job at portraying the meaning of the song. A powerful message being spread by the art of dance, and Roxy excelled at it.

With spins, splits and fast moves, her routine definitely wasn’t an easy one to perform.

The performance was fairly complicated, but you can tell that Roxy is able to handle it all. With the age of only five years old, it’s pretty incredible to imagine what kind of talent she will have when she’s older! Dancing is most definitely Roxy’s passion and seeing her do the one thing she loves most makes it an absolute joy to watch.

And the audience definitely seemed to agree – they were hooked for every second of Roxy’s performance and couldn’t believe what kind of moves she was busting out. Every time she did a more sophisticated move such as a twist or a split, the crowd went wild.

Everyone was in awe of little Roxy’s performance, both the judges and the audience alike.

Of course, after a two-minute-long energetic performance, Roxy knew that she needed to end things with a bang. The final pose is sassy, classy and totally tells the meaning behind the lyrics and the movie.

One thing is clear: this young girl is absolutely pursuing her dreams and passions to the fullest, and age is simply a number. The talented girl already has an eye for perfection, and that’s equally as inspiring as it as remarkable.
