This kitten was supposedly never adopted because she was the “ugly” one, which sounds ridiculous. She’s adorable, but I guess her siblings had silky fur and deep green eyes. But now? She is definitely the model of the family.

This is a relationship that is lasting. These pictures were taken 40-years apart and it seems to me that they feel the same about each other as they always did. Their love only grows each year.

4) The Kids Are Even Cuter

This couple went to the same pre-school. Not they are all grown up and have children of their own. Their kids are even more adorable than they were, just look at their sweet smiles. Now this is a cute love story.

Three generations in two pictures. Here we have a man holding his son as a newborn. Fast-forward and we see that son holding the man’s grandson. Let’s hope they keep the tradition for generation to come.

The picture on the left is Mr. Overton as he served in WWII. On the right we have Mr. Overton at 112-years-old. He was a handsome young man and now he’s a happy older gentleman. He was once the oldest living male in the United States.

7) The Longest Game Of Chess

Here we have Arnold Schwarzenegger and his bodybuilding buddy playing chess for fifty years. This is a friendship that lasts. Arnold was the reason Franco Columbu got his acting roles early on.

8) Even The Cat Is There

Ten year time lapses are the best. In this case, we see that not much has changed. This family is still as loving and as cuddly as ever. Everyone is aging well, especially that dog, look at that lovely coat.

9) Good Job Painting The Shelf Too

Not only did they paint the shelf white, a becoming color on it, but they polished their antique spoon collection to perfection. This grandma hand-picked the spoons thirty years ago and now they are thriving.

10) Ohio State Is Looking Good

Sometimes, technology takes over, and sometimes, we do the right thing and enhance the natural beauty around us. This is Ohio State University after they created pathways that the students voted on.

11) Castaway To Celebrity

This guy went from looking like Tom Hanks in Castaway to Sean Maguire. He could definitely play a mean Robin Hood better than a castaway that talks to a volleyball. But who are we to choose his career path?

12) That Van Is Invincible

The day that this family bought their van in 1999 and then again twenty years later. The second picture is the day that they sold it. Do you think it was worth more then or now? This reminds me of This is Us!

13) Find A Barber You Trust

This man ahs been going to the same barber shop for thirty years. As you can see, nothing much has changed expect the barber has upgraded his glasses. When you find someone you trust, never let them go.

14) Never Give Up On Renovations

If you think your home needs a bit of renovating, just look at this and try not to feel overwhelmed. This vintage home is amazing, but it didn’t look like there was much hope for it. But all it took was a little TLC!

15) The Power Of Rehab

This poor kitty named Benben had been near death when he was found. Though he still si short an ear, it’s nothing that his bright eyes can’t make up for. This cat was saved and he shows his appreciation daily.

16) It Was 3D Printed

This toucan has a loving owner who 3D-printed him a beak that looks even better than the original. It is functioning and sleek. Though I think his owner looks even happier than he does!

17) She Was Pretty, Now She’s A Model

Is it just me or does this gorgeous queen look insanely familiar? Is she secretly a celebrity because that’s what it looks like to me. All she did was lose 40lbs, and hopefully found happiness along the way.

18) He Beat It

What is this, you may ask. Well, this is five years cancer-free! The best before and after that anyone could hope for. While some want to lose weight and others want their relationships to last, some just want their loved ones to survive.

19) He’s A Happy Dog Now

Look at those sad eyes and tell me you wouldn’t adopt him. This dog is a happy one now that he is happy with his new family. His name is Koda Bear and it suits him perfectly. The little teddy!

20) He Keeps Outgrowing His Shell

This snail had to go through so many shells in just a few months time. Do you think he’ll ever stop growing or we’ll we have another Clifford the Big Red Dog on our hands soon? Let’s hope not!

21) Two Hours Apart

These two were taken two hours apart. It’s Michigan at 9am and Michigan at 11am when the fog clears. It just goes to show you that you can’t judge the way your day is going to go from what happens at 9am.

This kid and his pupper were adorable. But they grew up great! They make such a handsome pair and are always by each other’s side. You can tell they share a strong connection. The dog is fifteen-years-old!

Here we have a lovely couple of teens at prom and ten years later, we see them getting married. Now that’s a sweet love story that we see often, yet it never gets old. When you find the one, you keep them.

This tortoise is named Johnathan. He was born in 1832 and is now 188-years-old. That’s older than any living human! He’s one of the oldest beings on the planet which is super crazy to think about.

When you find a friendship that lasts through the decades, you’ve been given one of life’s greatest treasures. Family has a hard enough time staying together, but these two are sharing water.

Imagine it’s 1976, and a young man named Steve Jobs has a little house down the street from you. You don’t think much of him and his Apple business. But it’s not long until he will have a multi-billion dollar company.

Those sad eyes got turned into gleeful eyes when he was adopted. Now he can run, he’s well-fed, and most of all, he’s loved. All dogs need is to feel loved and they will surely prosper.

This dude does The Lion King reenactment every single year with his cat. She was a cute kitty before and now we get to see her grow up. Let’s hop there are many, many more of these to come.

These photos were taken 17-years apart. The kid was happy to have a tiny turtle he could hold in his hand. Now look at him. Pretty soon, the turtle will outgrow him! Maybe he’ll live as long as Johnathan.

This momma got cleaned up years ago. Here she is ten years ago and now. She looks perfectly glaming and happy to finally have taken her life back. It’s never too late to take charge, people.

Who saw this coming? Probably no one but their parents who noticed how close they always were. They met in second grade and they are still together! What a sweet pair they make! Do you think they are “just friends”?

Boston is one of the few cities that got it right. They’ve turned some of their overpasses into gorgeous parks. It’s so inviting that it makes me want to move to Boston. The picture form thirty years ago does not agree.

42) Never Make Ornaments Out Of Nuts

This person tried to be festive and made a wreath out of acorns. Soon enough, it disappeared and was found acornless in the yard. The squirrels enjoyed their afternoon snack. Feed them more.

43) Three Years Of Hard Work

This is what happens when it doesn’t rain enough. Lakes dry up into nothing. In time, this could happen to large bodies! What a beautiful lake it was and now it’s a dryland. Maybe it can still prove useful.

44) Only A Tesla

Here we have the Model T vs the Model 3. This man is now a grandpa with a Tesla and remembers when his dad had a Model T before he was born almost 100 years ago. They both know how to live.

45) Happy To Be A College Graduate

These photos look like mother and daughter but they are actually this woman at her high school graduation and her college graduation. She’s amazed at how much happier she looks after college.

46) Sisters Forever

These sisters think they were award in Middle School. But they were really just like everyone else. They were gorgeous kids with happy smiles. Now, they look like models and should be proud of their relationship.

This little puppy is adorable! These pictures could have been taken years apart, but they aren’t. They were taken just fifteen months apart. He sure did grow up to be a big, strong little man.

It’s amazing to see a life turned around and brought back from the path to termination. This is what a plant can look like on the brink of death and when it’s taken proper care of. Someone has a green thumb.

It feels like these two will last forever. Both are nearly 100 and aren’t showing the signs. People are watching The Crown in hopes of drawing closer to Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth, the most beloved leaders in the modern-day world.

50) Two Days In New Zealand

Don’t despair when the world is cold and the sunshine is gone. Here we have New Zealand two days apart. Now that makes me want to move there, not just their downward curve as of late.

51) Where Has All The Ice Gone?

This one is puzzling. You can see the mountains in the background of the 100-year-old photo but it’s behind the ice. It looks like a few avalanches have passed through since then because we have a full view now.

52) A Lot Can Happen, But Some Things Never Change

These two have probably been through a lot since 2006 when the first picture was taken. But their love has never wavered, it seems. They are still just as happy as can be almost fifteen years later.
