60 Creative Couples That Have Serious Fun At Halloween
Halloween is such a fun time of year. Everyone dresses up in costumes and goes to parties — and of course, there’s plenty of candy to go around. It’s even more fun if you’re part of a couple because that means you can be half of a costume.
We’ve all seen some of the classic couples’ costumes. Every year you see a lot of the same ones, like Peanut Butter and Jelly or Popeye and Olive Oyl. Some of those have been done so many times that they’re not very interesting anymore. But then you have the couples that push the envelope and make something that’s, well, kind of amazing.
Halloween costumes have only gotten better, with people doing everything from tributes to their favorite TV shows (we see you, “Stranger Things” fans) to doing some amazing plays on words. And forget being Jim and Pam from “The Office” — how about being Kevin and his pot of chili?
If you need inspiration for you and your significant other this year, look no further. These 60 couples took Halloween by storm. But don’t take that as a reason not to try — make it your reason for coming up with an even cooler costume this year.
1. They certainly complement each other
This couple found the perfect way to complement each other, both inside and out! As two parts of the yin and yang, they’re a visual representation of how opposites attract.
2. Nobody step on them
One poster shared this picture of their parents, saying they won a costume contest for this. And no wonder — it’s a pretty impressive getup. Just don’t step on them or it’ll hurt like crazy.
3. Does this count?
This isn’t technically a couple’s costume or at least not in the usual sense. When his girlfriend couldn’t make it to the Halloween party, this guy decided to dress up as both of them. Rumor has it they both enjoyed the party.
4. It’s clever and socially relevant
Unfortunately, even in the 2010s, sometimes interracial couples receive criticism from people, but this couple isn’t standing for it. They decided to pay tribute to a historical moment with their Halloween costume.

18. Yup, that’s a pretty scary costume

When your significant other dresses up like a cat, you might as well dress up like a scratching post! But considering the damage that cats do to those things, he might be in bad shape in a few hours.
46. She should watch her back
I’m not sure if they love KFC or just thought he bore a resemblance to Col. Sanders. Either way, it’s a pretty unique costume.
