There are a lot of perfectly legitimate reasons to use Photoshop. There’s a great example in this slideshow where someone should have used it to get rid of a naked man in the background. That’s a good, legitimate reason.

But there are also so many advertisements that use Photoshop to create unrealistic standards for human bodies. Especially women. And sometimes they make this obvious.

That’s because of Photoshop fails. Photoshop fails are hilarious and ridiculous. Some show proof of exhaustion or lack of photo editing skills, while others bring to light the ways some media and fashion outlets seek to damage the self-esteem of humanity. You’ll see what we mean.

Here are 70 photoshop fails that are painfully obvious:

1) Gigi Hadid’s Arm

Someone’s arm is extra long in this photo. Can you tell who? It’s Gigi Hadid’s. It’s spanning Kendal jenner and Ashley Graham.

2) No Legs

Do these people have no legs and amazing upper arm strength? Are they halved ghosts? We’ll have to ask the dog.

3) Bling Baby Jesus

Apparently this Catholic calendar wanted Baby Jesus and Mary to be all blinged out. So they Photoshopped some jewels on them. They’re really bad at Photoshop.

4) She’s Watching You

I think this child might be a demon. That or she has two faces. One on the side of her head.

5) One Legged Woman

Here we have a one legged woman. That or her other leg is hiding in the sweater but that seems unlikely. It just looks real awkward. And no one wears long sweaters without pants. Sorry, but that’s not a thing.

6) Broken Neck Shower

Is this lady OK? She looks like she broke her neck. Is this a shower for broken necks?

7) Sneaky Arm

Someone snuck their arm in the photo. Look at the arm of the lady in the white dress. Either there is someone else’s arm grabbing her waist or she has one long ass arm.

8) Backwards Bulge

These people didn’t even bother to use Photoshop. They clearly copy and pasted. And they even messed that up. This guy is either tucking it back or he has a bulge in his butt.

9) Uneven Thigh

Someone attempted to Photoshop this woman’s thigh. Now it looks uneven and like a few inches are missing in one spot. Because apparently thin models aren’t even allowed to have human-sized thighs.

10) Thing T. Thing’s Cousin

Apparently this family left their baby in the care of Thing T. Thing’s cousin. You know the moving hand from The Addams Family. But unlike Thing, his cousin has an arm too.

11) Two Watches

Taylor Lautner is big on keeping track of time. He’s wearing two watches. Well, one is in his reflection.

12) Mile Long Arm

This woman has the longest arm I’ve ever seen. It’s also kind of crooked. Maybe that’s what happens when you get an unlimited swimming membership.

13) Backwards Legs

Here’s another person who looks seriously injured. That leg is all messed up. It’s backwards. How do you not notice that?

14) Not a Straw

That straw isn’t a straw. It’s a Photoshop line tool. It was easier to do that than Photoshop a straw in.

15) Crashing

This woman is admiring the Statue of Liberty. I wonder if she is aware of the fact that she’s about to crash into the Hudson River. She looks a little concerned but not as concerned as she should be.

16) Disappearing Torso

Did Adam Levine lose weight? It doesn’t look like he’s been working out. It looks like someone chopped off half of his torso.

17) Playing Guitar

I’m not sure if I would take lessons from these dudes. They don’t even know how to hold a guitar. Don’t they know that the guitar goes in your hands and not above it.

18) No Pepperoni

This used to be a pepperoni slice of pizza. But someone wanted it to be a regular slice of pizza. So they badly Photoshopped out the pepperoni circles with a plain slice.

19) Known For Her Giant Head

What did they do to this woman? Did they shrink her body? Or did they blow up her head?

20) Avril’s Arm

They really wanted to emphasize Avril’s waist here. And her sexiness. So much so that they erased part of her arm.

21) Thigh Gap

Here’s another fit woman who wasn’t allowed to be human. Some thought she needed to have unrealistic looking thighs and gave her a giant thigh gap. It looks even worse from the back.

22) Magic Pudding

This pudding is magic pudding. It floats! You really can eat it anywhere… without hands!

23) Self Spinning Fidget

So, that’s not how fidget spinners work. You need two fingers to work it. Clearly this Photoshop person never used a fidget spinner or doesn’t really know how to use Photoshop.

24) Non Selfie Stick

Another Photoshopper who doesn’t know how their product works. This is supposed to be a self stick. This person is supposed to be taking a selfie. And even so, that picture would only get the top of their heads with the angle he is holding that thing at.

25) Top Half and Bottom Half

The top half of this woman’s body doesn’t match the bottom half. For some reason these people must have been trying to narrow her already extremely tiny waist. Looks like her thighs got a little Photoshop work done too.

26) The Nipless Wonder

Did you know that Chrissy Teigen doesn’t have nipples. She has to draw them on. But sometimes she forgets.

27) Neck Extension

The model on the right wanted to look perfect for this photo shoot. So, she got a neck extension. Looks great.

28) My Two Right Feet

This was supposed to be Fifth Harmony’s big Billboard cover. But Ally Brooke ended up with two right feet. That’s unfortunate.

29) The Case of the Missing Belly Button

Here we have a case of a missing belly button. Gisele Bundchen’s is gone. Or it’s just super tiny and hiding behind the N.

30) Floating Peas

This dish didn’t originally have peas. But it does in the menu. So, someone Photoshopped peas in. But they just look like they’re floating.

31) Flexi-Wrist

That must have been one painful photo shoot. She’s bending her wrist really far. That’s one flexible wrist.

32) Giant in Danger

This Giant is in danger. He’s seconds away from seriously injuring himself from diving into very shallow water near a rocky ledge. I hope he’s OK.

33) Translucent Hands

The models in this ad have really translucent hands. That or someone lied about knowing Photoshop on their resume. Probably the latter.

34) 74,000 Reasons To Join Us

This ad claims there is 148,000 reasons to join them. But it’s probably half that. Most peopel appear in this ad twice.

35) Stretched Woman

This woman lost a lot of weight in six months. Not really. They just stretched and/or shrunk her photo.

36) Detachable Leg

This lady has a really cool leg. It’s detachable. She can take it off and put it wherever she wants.

37) It’s Behind Your

This basketball player looks like he’s going to dunk. Everything seems normal. Except for the fact that his basketball hoop is behind him.

38) Doubled Up

They doubled up on this picture. There’s two baby Zaharas in this picture. And Brad has an extra leg.

39) Weight Lost Mysteries Explained

Here we have yet another attempt at giving women unrealistic body images. And it’s from a medical publication, not a fashion publication. Olivia Munn’s head looks far too large on her tiny body.

40) Squid Girls

Life must be hard as a squid girl. With all those legs. I wonder if they get tangled up.

41) Bye Arm

Here’s Kristen Stewart holding her foot. But that’s not what’s weird about this photo. It’s the fact that her left arm is gone.

42) The Chinless Woman

This woman has no chin. And it’s absolutely terrifying. That’s some real nightmare juice.

43) Photoshop Tummy Tuck

Even beautiful girls feel the need to make themselves look more like what society tells us women should look life. Arzaylea gave herself a Photoshop tummy tuck. But she forgot to straighten out the bottom of OJ. She later deleted the pic from Instagram.

44) Umbrellaless Pool With Umbrellas

Can you spot what’s wrong in this photo? Look at the pool. The reflection shows umbrellas but there aren’t any.

45) Square Beer

Someone needed a photo of some frothy beers. Apparently, the beer needed more foam than it originally had. The beer in the middle has some nice square foam on it.

46) Mr. Gangle

This picture is quite odd. This guy’s arms are really long. But his hands are even longer.

47) Duckfaces and the Missing Arm

You know what they say. A couple that duck faces together stays together. She stayed with him even when he lost his right hand.

French shopping website La Redoute forgot to Photoshop something in this picture. They forgot to get rid of the naked guy in the background. Those poor kids had to run around the beach all day when this guy’s shlong was out. I guess, that’s normal in France though.

49) Phantom Hand

This Olympic swimmer looks pretty happy. Not sure why you should Photoshop something like this. But someone Photoshopped a mysterious hand on his shoulder.

50) So Many Things

There are so many things wrong with this photo. Let’s see, where do we start. First, why is the baby more Asian than anyone else in the family? What was wrong with the face of the original children and husband?

51) Doctor Suspenders

There’s a lot of magical and scientific things that happen in “Doctor Who.” But why aren’t his suspenders connected. And how is it staying in place? Is it magic? Is it science?

52) Mazda’s Photoshop Car

So this looks pretty legit from afar. But when you look up close. It’s a major Photoshop fail.

53) Double Sleeve

Apparently there was a wardrobe change in the middle of this photo shoot. He was wearing a jacket at some point. This Photoshop person forgot to edit out his double sleeve.

54) The Handsy President

This president is pretty handsy. But not like that. He just has an extra hand.

55) Dressed to Impress

This guy is dressed to impress. But something happened to his arm while he was getting dressed. It got all shriveled up.

56) Vampire

Kim Kardashian did a photoshoot with a vampire. Not because he’s devishily handsome. But because he has no reflection.

57) $9

This ad is supposed to show that people are making a lot of money. And making it fast. Then they should have Photoshopped $100 bills in her hand instead of $1 bills. She made $9 from selling a house.

58) False affection

For some reason, someone felt the need to Photoshop the former president and his wife holding hands. Politics are an illusion. Is anything we see real anymore?

59) Extra Celebrity Limbs

So, Reese Witherspoon’s has three legs. Well, Vanity Fair says it was just the lining of her dress. But then Orpah has a third hand. So….

60) The Future

The Samsung Tablet can show the future. Or maybe he’s watching a video that he took of the past? But it looks like they probably should have the same shot in the video frame and it was just a Photoshop flub.

61) Floating Credit Card

Yup. This was actually printed and put on display. Another person who lied about their Photoshop skills.

62) Giraffe Neck

Did you know Chanel uses human-giraffe hybrids in their campaigns. No, not really. They just Photoshopped her neck wrong.

63) Llama Dog

This dog has an awfully burly neck. He kind of looks like a llama. It looks like they messed up their Photoshop job when trying to scale the dog against the cat.

64) Hands, Hands, Hands

These girls are buddy buddy. But they can’t decide if they want to put their arm around one another or stand side-by-side. One of these girls has an extra hand and the other looks like she’s missing an arm.

65) Prepare For a Crash Landing

This is not the view you want to see from your plane window. If this is what you’re looking at, you should prepare for a crash landing. Because a plane should not be flying that low unless it’s about to land at an airport.

66) Magic Waffle Maker

This is a magic waffle maker. The waffle press has 16 indents. But it magically makes waffles with 20 indents.

67) Curvy Wall

Kylie Minogue has her own calendar. Her Photoshop guy must have wanted to add a little more junk to her trunk. Now her wall’s gone all curvy.

68) Hands or Head

This person forgot to Photoshop this guy’s head in. Or he forgot to Photoshop the hands out. Either way, they messed up.

69) Baby’s Foot

Is this baby OK? He is all twisted up. Maybe he was born like that. Maybe it’s a bad Photoshop job.

70) Awkward Legs

This is what happens when the media wants to portray emaciation as a healthy or normal body type. No one buys it. Because it’s just not realistic. Like this actress’ legs in this promo.
