“America’s Got Talent”, the popular, televised talent show leaves much room for creativity on it’s stage. Performances aren’t limited to just the usual singing and dancing. There you’ll witness one unconventional act after another, such as a gorgeous beautician changing from one outfit to another in mere seconds, a singing dog, magic tricks on the verge of going wrong… name it, it happened. More than what they proudly showcase for the world to see, these acts sometimes have heartwarming stories to share about their lives and inspirations, too.

You’ll also see incredible talents that will make you want to get up, yell, and clap right from your couch.

Take nine-year-old Victory Brinker who took her place on stage and admitted she was feeling “ex-nervous” – excited and nervous.

Clearly, the young performer already stole the judges’ hearts during her pre-audition chat, that’s why they were all smiles when she stepped out and got ready to wow the crowd.

And speaking of judges, everyone knows Simon Cowell is the most difficult to please.

It takes a lot to put a smile on the man’s face and very little to make him roll his eyes. But obviously, Victory had what it takes to achieve the former.

The singer actually told Simon that if she wins, one of the first things she’ll do is buy a rainbow shirt with glitters for the formidable judge. Surprisingly, the judge agreed, if only to humor her.

Little did he know she was set to win.

Ready to make jaws drop, the opera singer began to sing “Juliet’s Waltz” from “Romeo et Juliette”.

All four judges were in complete disbelief.

Who knew someone so young could sing opera so well? Her range was nothing short of impressive, and it left the audience cheering in excitement.

Victory hit all the notes flawlessly, bringing down the house. There was nothing but praises from the judges. Howie Mandel declared,

“I was not expecting that. You’re angelic. I loved it.”

To which Sofia Vergara added,

“You are a star. You have a powerful voice.”

But there was much more in store for the unsuspecting singer.

Simon called on Terry Crews to join the rest of the judges for a short huddle, leaving Victory and the audience perplexed. After the brief discussion, Simon turned to Victory and said,

“Victory, as I said, turning up, in terms of your career, is really important; however, we’re not going to give you a yes today. We’re going to do something else we’ve never, ever, ever done on the show before. We are all going to give you something special.”

Despite the confused look on Victory’s face, you could tell mostly everyone in the room was in anticipation of what was to come. Then Simon began counting down from five. As he did so, the judges rose on their feet, joined by Terry.

And with one swift motion, all of them hit the Golden Buzzer!

The audience went wild and Victory and her mom broke out in tears as confetti rained down on them.

I guess this means Simon is going to wear that rainbow shirt after all!
