A term that’s come to reality amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Quarantine measures have kept business limited and people at home for months, leaving room for a wide variety of curious issues to arise. Many of the things we may have taken for granted have been stripped from us, including our beauty routines. Without salons or barbers open, many people have taken to their own devices to address unruly hair situations.

Stories have been rolling in of people giving themselves quarantine haircuts as we all try to navigate life without the goods and services we’ve grown so accustomed to.

During shut-downs, many salons have even posted tutorials for patrons yearning to keep their styles in check.

One thing may be certain – the pandemic may have completely changed the way we live, but our hearts remain the same.

Fortunately, staying safe at home, surrounded by our loved ones, isn’t such a bad thing. And for an elderly couple in Israel, they are getting along swimmingly.

Recently the couple’s grandson shared a photo he snapped of them lovingly taking care of each other while isolated. The photo features his grandfather stepping up to dye his grandmother’s hair while she has no access to the salon.

The grandmother is sitting in a wheelchair with a towel draped across her shoulders. She holds up a mirror to watch her husband apply hair dye to the roots of her hair.

He shared in a Facebook caption:

“These are my 92-year-old grandparents (we will be healthy). In any situation, my grandfather takes care that my grandmother will feel well-groomed. You don’t see things like this every day.”

We definitely don’t! And it’s touching to see the lengths of love at work.

The darling couple’s image was shared on Facebook, where it went completely viral.

People are moved to see true love prevailing over any grave circumstance. Instead of cursing the fate of being stuck at home, this couple reminds us that it can simply be a time to deepen bonds.

The Facebook post has gotten a staggering 59k likes, with 4.8k comments and 5.8k shares.

Viewers have poured out their adoration for this ultimate display of affection:

It’s amazing and pure to see this husband stepping up for his wife in uncertain times, even if he’s doing something that’s completely out of his comfort zone. The trust his wife places in him, coupled with his ultimate desire to comfort her is enough to tug at the hardest of hearts.
