We all have dreams as a child, but for most of us, they change through life depending on how things go. Not for one woman, her whole life she dreamed of living tiny and finally got the chance to capitalize on that dream. Leaving sunny California, she built an incredible tiny home in Texas to live out the rest of her life in.

Here’s a peek inside of her tiny house heaven!

Tyshae Walton has had the dream of owning a tiny home since she was 12-years-old, and has finally made it a reality

Tiny house communities have blown up in the last 10-years, but for some people, it’s been a dream for far longer than that. Keeping a journal as a kid, Tyshae would write all about her hopes and dreams, and one of them was living tiny.

She decided to leave California, in order to live in a tiny home village in Texas, fulfilling the life long dream. In this video, Tyshae kindly gives us a look into her tiny house haven and it’s amazing.

The Kitchen

When you walk into Tyshae’s kitchen, there’s a full-size fridge, stove, ample counter space, and a deep basin sink. There are also massive doors with huge windows, that open directly to the outside from the beautiful kitchen. One of the most unique parts of the kitchen is the drawer underneath the fridge where she keeps all her spices and seasonings.

There’s also a gorgeous, oscillating fan hanging in the kitchen that keeps the air flowing.

Living room

Tyshae has a spacious living room, with a big couch and a giant television, room for plants, and huge windows that let in a good amount of sunshine.

Workspace

Being a massage therapist, Tyshae had to make sure and have a spacious office to bring clients to. In her terrific workspace, she has a desk for office work, a bed with a fold-out stepping-stool to do the massages on. There’s also a meditation altar, where Tyshae begins and ends her day at.

The bathroom that doubles as a laundry room

Tyshae’s tiny home has a normal size bathroom, with a full-size tub to soak in. Inside the bathroom, is a duel washer and dryer with plenty of space to get laundry done and extra storage space.

The bedroom loft area

On the opposite side of the office, are stairs that double as storage space leading up to a bedroom loft. Tyshae has a comfy queen size bed with a skylight directly above it to look at the stars, sunrise, and sunset from, which is her favorite part of the house.

She also has a television, bookshelves, and storage space for her clothes in the bedroom.

“Newyork” style balcony

Tyshae has a wonderful balcony that overlooks the entire community, she calls it a “New York” style balcony because she has to crawl out of the bedroom window to gain access. Her second favorite part of the house, she goes out there every morning to enjoy the sun and do her morning yoga.

It’s so inspiring to see someone fulfill their childhood dreams, Tyshae knew what she wanted and made it happen! To see the sensational tiny home in more detail, watch the video below!
