The post shows a photo of a bookshelf filled with books, plants, and other items. The caption simply says, “Today in find the cat.”

At first, it may look easy, but wait till you try to find the cat yourself! People on Twitter are very busy trying to solve the said puzzle and believe us – it’s not that easy.

With more than 52,000 people trying to solve the puzzle, only a few have succeeded. So, what’s behind this trending puzzle?

Kate Hinds, a New York-based journalist started to post “find the cat” photos on her Twitter account. She’s proud and happy to share her pet’s amazing camouflage skills and the people loving it!

There’s a photo of her cat in the living room, in her mini garden, and even in her bookshelf. Now, the one in the bookshelf went viral real quick – it seems like this is her hardest i-spy challenge yet.

When it comes to cats, the “if I fit, I sit” motto perfectly applies. Cats are great when it comes to finding uncomfortable and weird resting spots.

May it be a cardboard box, a paper bag, a bookshelf, a bucket, your bathroom sink, to that empty flower pot in your garden – cats will try every uncomfortable place there is.

Somewhere in this bookshelf is a cat – can you find where he is?

People have been tweeting about this post, and it’s so entertaining to read what they have to say about this very challenging game.

“Stumped! My husband tried (very hard) & finally gave up! So what gives?” said one of the comments.

“That’s one of our favorite games too!” said another Twitter user.

“It’s your darn cat! Find it yourself. I couldn’t find it,” joked another.

Some cat owners tweeted that this puzzle is quite easy as their cats would often do the same thing, as well. They also posted their own “find the cat” photos, and even shared hilarious stories about their pet cats.

“As I cat dad I know how much they love to hide behind TV’s because of the heat!” said one cat owner.

“Something about cats and bookcases,” said another cat owner with a photo of her cat hiding in the bookshelf.

It did take us some time to find this cat but, overall, it was entertaining! We love how Kate is always posting these fun “find the cat” challenges.
