Cats are unique pets, consequently resulting in unique owners. You have to have the right temperament to have a cat. There are quite a lot of tropes involving cats, and honestly, most of them are true! Any owner knows just how ridiculous a furry feline can be. Check out these memes so you know you aren’t alone in thinking your cat is mental!

1. Tomb Raider

This is a real-life image of your cats breaking into your casket at your funeral to try and beg for more wet food. They loved you, sure, but they love their wet food more.

2. Box’o Spares

Any box in a home with cats immediately becomes a point of fascination. Cats just can’t resist sleeping, playing, and lounging in boxes whenever they appear. This box of spare cats illustrates that perfectly!

3. Perfect fit

If there was a pet that could be described as a “perfect fit,” it’s cats. They seem to have an innate sense of design and know how to be cut in the process.

4. Escape artist

If there is one thing in common between dogs and cats, it’s the fact that they are all escape artists. A single open door and *vroom*… gone. This meme is a perfect example of that.

5. A fab aesthetic

Cats are naturally fabulous. They can’t help themselves; it’s in their genes. They will groom and maintain themselves all day (which is more than we can say for ourselves).

6. Peeping tom-cat

Cats love to watch you in your most vulnerable moments. Whether it’s when you have someone “in the room with you” or you are using the bathroom, a quick scan around the room, and you will find your feline staring at you.

This is probably the first time the cat saw its owner in years. You can feel the excitement (not). I can’t imagine how heartbreaking this would probably be!

Bonnie Tyler knew what she was talking about when she sang “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” She would probably relate to this photo, too. Total eclipse of the cat.

9. Poor quality towel

When picking a towel out, make sure it doesn’t have claws and won’t shriek when it touches water. You will have a bad day if you pick the wrong towel off the rack on this one.

10. Cat-proofing

Anyone working from home knows that having a cat near your keyboard is always a risk. They have a desire to sit on your hands, no matter the cost. I would invest in this, especially for those stuck at home.

11. Old-school

While this photo is funny, I want you to look in the right corner and see the shuffle. The iPod shuffle. Oh ya, that’s old-school, alright.

12. Bad wrap

Black cats are infamous in the spooky world. They are believed to bring bad luck, but in all reality, they are just a cute as other cats! Just look at this photo and say you don’t believe me.

13. Baby Yoda

The Mandalorian is one of the biggest shows around, and for good reason – baby Yoda. As we now know, his real name is Grogu, but that doesn’t change what we really like to call him.

14. Sunnyside up

At first glance, you would never think this pic is actually a cat. This breakfast snack is probably more interesting in snuggling and stepping on your face than being eaten.

15. *Einstein shrugs*

Cats don’t care much for physics. They don’t abide by “natural law” and are the better for it. Gravity? Never heard of it.

No amount of food will satisfy a hungry cat. Even after the 42nd feeding, you still may get this look. Beware.

You see, this isn’t even an issue. He didn’t eat anything, right? Just let him make his mark and move on. It’s cute as heck.

You don’t always get a cute photo moment from your cats. They usually don’t show affection when you want them to, but have a camera ready when they do.

19. Clear difference

We’ve talked a lot about the difference between the two pets today. If this doesn’t sum it up, I don’t know what will. The CLEAR joy of the dog and VISIBLE anger of the cat is amazing.
