Dogs are pretty content creatures overall. They sleep, eat, play with their owners and then pretty much call it a day — just to do it all over again the next day. There are usually a ton of reasons for them to smile.

This one dog in particular, who goes by the name of Luna, possibly had even more reason to smile than the typical pup.

See, Luna was luckily rescued earlier this year from the Brazilian streets. She was soon taken in by Anna Carolina Lima and her fiancé. The loving owners are head over heels for the dog of course, and take very good care of her.

While that’s good enough reason to be happy though, the fun for Luna does not end there. During a recent visit to Lima’s grandmother’s house, Luna was met with an especially fun time.

Luna settled in fairly quickly during their stay at Lima’s grandma’s house — so settled in, that Lima felt comfortable enough to leave the pup there alone for just a few hours.

It was just after lunch when Lima’s grandmother decided to lay down for a nap. This is when the real fun began. “As usual, she put her dentures under the pillow so as not to lose them,” Lima told The Dodo.

Luna, who was clearly not ready to go to sleep yet, saw that Lima’s grandmother had put her dentures under her pillow and naturally, saw that as an opportunity for a little extra fun.

After grandma Lima woke up, she soon realized that her trusty dentures were no longer there… For the first time ever.

“She was pretty desperate that she couldn’t find her dentures,” Lima continued to share. “She and my mom searched everywhere. They searched for hours.”

When Lima finally returned to her grandmother’s house, she noticed that Luna was uncharacteristically out of sight. So naturally, her first instinct was to check on the pup and see if she had anything to do with this denture fiasco.

Surely enough, speaking truly to her gut, this is what Lima found:

“I found Luna sitting in the armchair with Grandma’s teeth in her mouth…She didn’t want to give them back,” Lima said.

When Luna was caught red-handed, she did not seem to feel too guilty or ashamed. In fact, it was quite the opposite: She seemed to be having a pretty dang good time. Much amusement and laughs all around.

After laughs were shared throughout the house, Lima managed to get the dentures away from Luna without any damage being done to them. So grandma Lima still has her dentures, and Luna had a good laugh!

Now, Luna is back to having her regular, smaller pup teeth. Not nearly as funny, but she sure does rock the natural look as well!

Lima went on to share that no one was mad — not even grandma. Everyone laughed about it instead, according to Lima. She also said that everyone in the family is a big animal lover, which totally makes sense to us!
