Abandoned dog covered in thick dirt and matted fur turns out to be an adorable pooch
The number of homeless pets keeps on racking up every day and it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down, let alone stop. These poor animals are either born homeless or abandoned by their previous owners who gave up on them for some known reasons like being financially incapacitated or moving out.
Some home pets also become homeless due to unfortunate events like their owners passing away.
A sad story
A dog named Yoggy was once loved and adored by his 80-year-old lady owner. The dog was given to her as a gift and they lived happily together. He was given a soft cozy dog bed, sumptuous meals, and precious time.
Yoggy couldn’t ask for more other than wishing his owner to live a little longer.
Unfortunately, their happy moments together were cut short after 4 months.
Yoggy’s owner passed away and left him behind. As it turned out, she wanted the next owner of her house to take Yoggy with them too.
The departed woman’s three daughters fought for the right to own the house, but none of them showed sympathy for Yoggy.
Since nobody from his departed owner took him, Yoggy had to live under the rain and cold weather for months. He desperately lived through the days without having anyone beside him to give him his needs.
Thankfully, an electrician visited the house and saw his hopeless condition.
It was destiny indeed because NTT Save A Life eventually found him through a social media post.
They wasted no time and brought Yoggy with them and started to give him all the medical help he needed.
First, they decided to remove his heavily matted hair and gave him a shower to freshen him up.
When they trimmed Yoggy’s facial hair, that’s when they found out that one of his eyes was blind. To do further checks, they brought Yoggy to the hospital and sought a specialist.
Thankfully, the results turned out positive, Yoggy hasn’t completely lost his sense of sight. However, his normal sense of sight may no longer go back to its normal state.
Day by day, his appetite went back to normal and he obviously loved all the food that he had, something that he haven’t had in ages.
The workers at NTT Save A Life couldn’t be more thankful for the progress that Yoggy was showing.
Back to being a dog.
Yoggy didn’t let his tragic experiences after the passing of his previous owner take the best of him. Despite his damaged eyesight, he still managed to be back on his feet and continued living life normally.
The gloomy look on his face also started to wear off, slowly but surely. He began gaining weight and his silky hair also started to grow back. You wouldn’t see a single trace of that old image of him anymore.
NTT Save A Life’s last wish is for Yoggy’s story to be heard by more people and for him to finally find his new forever home and family.
He deserves all the love in the world and we can’t wait to see where destiny would bring him in the next chapter of his life.
