For anyone who’s been in the animal rescue industry, they’d tell you the job isn’t just about genuine love and care for animals. It also takes a lot of courage and an extremely strong stomach, especially when rescuing stranded animals.

Yes, a lot of people are sincere when it comes to taking care of animals, however, there are also some people who are heartless towards them. This often happens to dogs, in particular, even if they are called man’s best friend, oftentimes, humans can’t be the same to them.

Thankfully, animal rescuers are there to save these poor dogs and cats from their miserable situation after being dumped by their ruthless owners.

Horrifying.

That’s the exact scene the Rescue Dispatch Team of Stray Rescue of St.Louis got into just recently when they responded to a rescue call. To them, it was just another day where they get the chance to give animals a second chance in life.

The caller reported about abandoned dogs on a particular property. Little did the rescuers know, they were about to face one of the most challenging (if not the most) missions in their entire career as rescuers.

Heartless or choiceless?

According to the rescue team and as written in the video’s description, the family who owns the dogs was evicted. Obviously, they all left the property and left the dogs behind. The reason why they abandoned the dogs wasn’t clear yet but if we are to assume, there could only be two reasons.

It’s either they’re just cruel or they can’t continue keeping them due to some circumstance only the evicted family knows.

Either way, they could’ve surrendered their dogs to a local animal shelter or to someone they know who is capable of keeping them. There are actually other options rather than just leaving the poor pooches behind.

The landlord didn’t step up either and to make matters worse, the landlord decided to just leave the house’s door open.

Bringing the dogs to safety.

The responding team consisting of rescuers Marianne, JJ, Chelsie, Julie, and Kaylee wasted no second and immediately went to the property where the dogs were reported to be staying at.

It was a hard path going through there and when they got there, they were simply heartbroken to see the helpless condition of the dogs. The abandoned dogs were surrounded by waste, the property was downright lifeless and definitely not conducive for the dogs to stay.

Thankfully, the rescue went smoothly and the dogs are now away from all kinds of danger.

In the video’s description, they wrote: “We headed straight to the location and found 4 adults with 3 teeny tiny babies. There were feces everywhere. This little Fraggle Rock family of 7 is safe now and they just want to be held. We don’t often see dogs like this abandoned. We know they’ll be adopted quickly and have wonderful lives now!”

The rescue team was truly admirable and even a lot of people online love what they do. In fact, one YouTube user from Canada calls them “Angels.”

We couldn’t agree more, they are indeed angels to these beautiful animals.
