Every morning, this adopted cat brings her owner her slippers

Cats are mysterious. They are often said to be impervious to human feelings. The general consensus regarding them is that they are aloof and autonomous.

Their behavior remains largely unfathomable as they act domestic and wild at the same time.

Cats are often perceived as less loyal or grateful to their owners but that is not true.

It’s a misconception that your cat isn’t as appreciative of your presence as a dog. Cats are loyal, emotionally attached, and grateful just as much as any other pet. And if you still fancy otherwise, meet Lulu.

Lulu the cat is so grateful to her owner, she brings her her slippers every day

Lulu loves her mom and is grateful that she was adopted by a loving home. So she brings her owner her slippers every morning as a “thank you” gesture.

Every day, Lulu travels the journey to deliver her mom’s slippers. She does this two times as she can only carry one slipper at a time!

Every animal expresses their gratitude for their owner in different ways.

Animals have emotions and they are capable of expressing them. They have a sharp memory and never forget the kindness someone showered upon them. Even years later, a rescue animal can identify their rescuer.

There are many such instances where animals were seen expressing their gratitude or their way of saying “thank you”.

Take the case of this kangaroo who has been hugging her rescuer every day for 10 years.

Abigail was rescued when she was only 5 months old, and she still remembers her rescuer and the kindness some people once showed her. She expresses her gratitude by giving hugs every time she meets them. This is her way of expressing “thank you.”

The way animals show their gratitude towards humans despite not being able to speak a word is astonishing and heart-touching.

Lulu the cat and her story are similar. She wasn’t in the best of shape when she was adopted.

Lulu, before she was adopted, was in poor condition and was facing severe illness.

One of Lulu’s family members, Kayla, discussing Lulu’s health before her mother adopted her, said:

“Kidney disease. She also has ingrown nails from being in too small of a cage. She couldn’t even jump when we first got her but now she runs and jumps all over!”

“I tried to convince my mom to get a kitten but she clearly knew what she was doing.”

Most people, when they adopt pets, go for healthy ones. Lulu, because of her poor health, was being overlooked.

She needed real care. Beyond medicine, she needed endless love, affection, and company. Lulu the cat received the care and was fully healed thanks to her loving family.

Now, Lulu says thank you.

Lulu knows that it was because of her mom that she is now healthy and loved.

When Lulu realize her mom’s morning started with slippers, she knew what she had to do to express her gratitude. She probably thought, “Just like mom serves me food every day, I can bring her slippers to her every morning.”

And thus, Lulu’s every morning routine was born.
