Whether you’re a parent or not, it’s hard not to see babies as being super-cute. They might be helpless when they’re so young but being adorable makes up for the fact they can’t do much for themselves. That’s part of what makes babies so special.

And if you can love a baby you first without having children of your own, just imagine what it’s like to be a mom or dad. When their babies first come home from the hospital, all they want to do is spend as much time with them as possible. Today, a lot of parents record the process of their little ones growing up. Thankfully, some share those moments on the internet.

Just like mom Kristin

In 2013, Kristin was enjoying the time she spent with her new daughter, Avery. This little girl was still an infant and as sweet as could be. With overwhelming love for her child, Kristin wanted to remember every fleeting moment…forever.

So, she decided to record them

Babies are never small for very long…they grow up so fast. Before parents know it, they’ve become adults, leaving home to start their lives. So,, it makes sense parents want to capture special moments to look back on later. That’s why Kristin turned on the camera when she went to wake up her sleeping daughter.

Just starting to wake up

When the video begins, you see Avery asleep in her crib. Her room is beautifully decorated with everything in pink, bubblegum-hued colors. It looks like a perfect place for a little girl to grow up. But for now, Avery was sleeping peacefully.

A soft wake-up call

While Kristin wanted to wake her daughter up, she didn’t want to disturb her. So, she tries to rouse her up very quietly, using only a whisper. But as soon as Avery hears her soft voice, she stirs. Avery opens her eyes but remains peacefully tucked under the covers.

The next wake-up call

But that first wake-up didn’t work for Avery. You know when you’re having a really great nap and you don’t want to get up? It seems as though that was what Avery was experiencing. So, her mom had to try again, this time using a slightly louder voice although still just a whisper.

Ready to go

After the second attempt, Avery had no problems getting. She immediately sat up and then smiled at her mom. You can tell she’s a happy baby just by the huge grin on her face. Imagine being that sweet baby’s mom.

An exciting idea

Kristin didn’t wake Avery up for nothing…but for an extremely exciting outing. This mom asked her precious baby if she wanted to go swimming at her grandma’s house. What baby wouldn’t want to go do that? Those words sparked excitement in Avery. Hopefully, she had an amazing time splashing around in the water and seeing her grandma.
