Nothing compares to the relationship that man can forge with his ‘best friend’ – a dog. They are endlessly loyal to us and forever standing beside us, which makes them family. There’s nothing they wouldn’t do for us and vice versa. And they do a lot of things. Funny things, touching things, loving things, and sometimes just plain weird things. When it comes to ride or dies, this girl is set! There’s nothing like cruising around with your favorite companion, just feeling the wind blow through your hair (or fur).

2) You quack me up

These precious ducklings lost their mother at the Mountfichet Castle in Essex, England. Luckily, Fred the golden labrador stepped up to take her place. He protected them, carried them around, and even bathed with them in the castle’s moat.

3) The easy chair

Reddit user u/Lobbyse uploaded a lovingly adorable shot of her dog sitting on top of her cat. In the post, she writes: “she has a whole farm where she can sit anywhere, yet she chooses to sit on the cat time and time again.”

4) No regrets

This picture was uploaded to Reddit after this pup was caught red-handed. Seemingly, he doesn’t seem to have any problem fessing up to the mess he made! User u/anonymouspipeline captioned the picture with ‘if I can chew it, I will chew it.”

When this guy’s owner was sick, he knew exactly the thing to fetch for him. There’s nothing like having a furry on-hand nurse to let you know you’re taken care of!

6) A warm welcome

Reddit user u/ontpinry uploaded this shot to the community after recently moving into his new house. Even though he has yet to meet his neighbor, her dogs have made it clear that playtime is widely accepted in their neck of the woods.

7) Everything but the ears

Bath time may be a common occurrence for this pooch, but he has made it known that the ears are off limits! Now his owner covers them up with a bathing cap. Can it get any cuter?

Golden Retrievers Rusty and Watson have followed one another on Instagram for a long time. When they finally got the chance to meet in the flesh and fur their friendship came naturally.

Did someone say ‘ball’? Nothing quite matches the excitement in a dog’s face right before it’s time to play. They have to have it and they’ll do anything to prove it.

There are days where the paperwork is just piled too high. At that point, why not just take a nap?
