We all know the absolute bliss of getting into bed after a long, hard day at work. There’s something indescribably amazing about sinking onto a mattress and getting cozy underneath a duvet.

Any of us with pets will also know that, if possible, our animals love our beds even more. This is because a bed doesn’t only represent comfort and rest to them – it’s also the place where they get to snuggle up with their favorite human.

One dog and human with a particularly close bond are this big husky and little boy. Owing to the fact that they’re virtually the same size, this pair already make a great double act. But an adorable video of the two of them getting ready for bed shows just how inseparable they really are.

The video begins with the husky pup already curled up in bed. She clearly knows her routines! The little boy excitedly heads into his bedroom, knowing that his furry friend is waiting for him.

Little kids would rather be up playing than sleeping, but it must be much more tempting to go to bed when there’s a big fluff ball waiting to sleep next to you!

But then we learn that this isn’t the norm. This playful husky is joining in with dad as a bit of a joke – he’s set the dog up in bed to give his little boy a giggle.

The little boy climbs into bed and lets his happy companion give him a few licks on the mouth. Great big doggo kisses are hit and miss with some of us, but this toddler is loving it!

Dad goes to collect the little boy’s bottle, and they have fun playing “Hidey-boo”. The little boy hides under his covers, then pulls them down and shouts, “Boo!” His husky friend is good as gold, watching the interaction between the two without getting riled up. She clearly loves the little boy very much.

As soon as the little boy starts drinking from his bottle, the husky jumps to attention. She can’t help it, of course – it looks tasty, even if milk doesn’t always go down well in a dog’s tummy. She looks at him with adorable puppy eyes, and Dad says:

“Please, sir, can I have some?”

It really is an Oliver Twist moment!

The little boy giggles and gives his best friend a stroke instead.

Then it’s time for the big fluffer to get out of bed so the little boy can go to sleep. Dad shouts for her to hop out – but the pup isn’t having any of it! She stubbornly stays put in bed, even when the little boy gently tries to push her paw in the right direction.

After lots of calling, Dad eventually gives up. He says,

“Right, you just stay there.”

He tucks the duvet back over the cheeky doggo and leaves the pair to it.

And that’s when the cuteness really begins. Dad’s next clip shows his son sleeping soundly, while his protective companion gives his face a lick. In the next shot, the pair are cuddled up together, fast asleep, with the husky’s paw around the little boy’s shoulder.

It’s the adorable ending of this video hat makes it such a heart-stealer. 1.3 million views and thousands of likes later, and the cute clip is still doing its rounds on the internet.
