Apartment Tenant Receives Mysterious Note From Neighbors About Their Baby

Everyone always says that you are never prepared to have a baby. It just seems like it’s one of those things that no matter your prep, teaches you a thing or two about life.

One of the biggest warnings parents give new parents involves the lack of sleep.

It seems that babies have a dedicated interest in conditioning their parents to operate off of three-hour-nights. They often cry about their comfort or want to be fed, or something else that you just can’t figure out. Some parents have different methods to help with the late-night crying, however.

Some parents opt for the Cry-It-Out approach!

As (negatively) popularized in the movie Meet the Fockers, the Cry-It-Out method involves you letting your child cry without your direct touch as comfort. You essentially comfort and parent from a distance instead of picking them up or holding them.

When one family came home with their new baby, they decide to try this method out!

The only “tricky” part was that they lived in an apartment! Anything that involves loud noises was sure to attract the unwanted annoyance of their neighbors, especially if it was late at night.

Instead of becoming the most hated renter on the floor, they did something amazing.

The new parents decided to print out letters to hand out to all those within potential earshot of their mewling babe. They knew that the baby was going to cry anyway, they might as well warn their friends and neighbors!

One woman on Twitter, @KittyBeeJr, decided to post the letter she received online.

The letter was incredibly sweet, and once it was posted, it struck a chord with the internet. KittyBee said:

“I thought it was the cutest, most considerate thing. You see stuff like this on the internet so I was surprised it actually happened to me. The tequila peace offering made my day.”

The letter? It explains the situation and makes a promise.

The hilarious letter simply tells the recipient what is about to go down. You may hear crying as we try to work this thing out, but it shouldn’t last long. The best part? It carries a promise. If any of the neighbors get too frustrated, they can simply knock on the door and receive a free shot of tequila!

When Kitty Bee posted it, she never expected it to blow up as it did.

She said:

“I posted the tweet, went on about my business, and came back to 1 million likes. With so much going on in the world, people were expecting something negative.”

People just seemed to love the positivity and funny humor that the letter contained. We are always looking for something positive to keep our spirits high!

Kitty Bee even posted an update!

A little while later, she never even noticed the crying baby. She tweeted:

“I have my AirPods in and Kitchen Aid going most of the time so I never hear the baby crying.”

After that, she even brought them wine and cookies! Those are the kind of neighbors we would all love to have!

Things definitely could have turned out worse!
