4-year-old gives newborn baby some sage advice about the world

Kristina Kuzmic runs a parenting YouTube channel that often stars her children.

With over 1 billion views under her belt, it’s safe to say she’s a sensation – one that Oprah herself recognized back in 2011 when she chose Kuzmic as the winner of Oprahā€™s Search for the Next TV Star.

Even Oprah herself said of the mom of 3:

“Thatā€™s so charming and charismatic and connected to the audience that makes you feel like, ā€˜I know her, I want to be her, Iā€™m like herā€™ā€¦ Kristina has all of that. She is an ā€˜IT PLUSā€™ girlā€¦ I wanna watch her!ā€

Well, it turns out her son Ari is quite the little star-in-training as well.

In an adorable video of Ari and the baby of a friend, Finn, the 4-year old taught his little pal some very important life lessons.

Their video, titled “Advice from the older generation” was posted in December of 2018 but already has over a quarter of a million views – and that’s partly because it’s so hilarious.

Ari’s advice?

Well, in a nutshell, here’s what Finn was told to expect from his life:

1. Mom and say say “no” A LOT

Luckily, the wise kiddo knows that’s a thing parents do to keep their children alive.

But Finn is not cool with this news.

2. Upon hearing the word “no,” try grandma

Grandma always says “yes.”

And Finn is happy to hear it!

3. Mom will say too much screen time is bad

Ari still finds this unbelievable. But there’s simply no way around it (except maybe at grandma’s).

4. Expect to have to wipe your own butt someday

Practical advice, but also a metaphor. Eventually, we all have to do the dirty work ourselves.

Still, Finn is taken aback at the suggestion. How’s he even supposed to reach back there?!

5. A child must hug their mother every day

End of story.

6. Grown-ups are annoying when they use baby talk

We like this. Ari probably still gets a lot of baby talk and he’s clearly wise beyond his years.

Luckily, like most annoying things, it eventually stops. That is the time to rejoice!

7. Grown-up are always asking kids to sleep more

Ari’s advice on the matter?

“Don’t do it. You might miss out on something exciting.”

8. Just say no to green food

Unless it’s green M&Ms. Those are safe.

Finn is starting to wondering if he should be taking notes or something – this is a lot of advice for one sitting!

9. There’s a long list of “foods” adults will expect children to forgo, and some that should just be avoided

These include bubblegum, money, garbage, Play-Doh, your dog, water cups filled with soap, and anything green (obvs!).

10. “When in doubt, just sing”

Frankly, this seems wise. We’ve paid a therapist more for worse advice.

Think about it, does singing a happy tune not turn your mood around to some extent? Well, Ari believes in it and we believe in Ari.

11. Babies come from…well, somewhere down there

That seems like enough of an anatomy lesson for a baby, frankly.

Alas, Finn is uncomfortable even with this tidbit – he is a baby after all. The thought is disturbing at best.

12. Sometimes you’ve got to cry it out

Look at Ari dropping truth bombs left and right! We’re really hoping Finn is taking this to heart.

But since he’s whimpering, we’re already seeing some progress.

Frankly, it’s all very sweet advice, especially when Ari insists he’ll always be there for his little pal and considers him a brother.
